  1. I don't see what's the problem. You know, one thing is going to a concert dressed up like Slash (even though he's not in the band anymore), and another -totally different- one is, throw shit, rant about the new members at the concert, spit, get into trouble, insult Axl, or simply shout negative stuff like "fuck off, Slash is Guns N' Roses, Axl Rose you ********ing fat, etc, etc". You know, if I was that guy that dressed up like Slash and someone in the crowd start yelling at me I'd knock the shit out of him immediately.

  2. This will be: Slash, Duff, Steve and Izzy. Axl will NOT show up. Then, they will be playing SCOM or maybe WTTJ. End of the story.

Probably Sorum too. I doubt Axl will show up though. And even if he did, he probably wouldn't perform. Would love to be wrong about that though...

You know, I would consider that as an option even if it is one in a million but unfortunately we know who and how Axl is. I'd LOVE to see them performing together even for 5 minutes, but that's NOT gonna happen. :(

  3. So I can't think of more than a handful of people who have given CD and nuGuns a fair shake. I am will to bet that there are actually a lot more out there but just don't want to come out of the closet, so to speak. Is GNR (post 2000's) a guilty pleasure? What do you think?

You mean: Is GnR - post 1990 - a guilty pleasure ... in particular, in North America ...

People being "closet" GnR fans has nothing to do with the NEW GnR but everything to do with OLD GnR!

Because when the alternative era arrived with the emergence of bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, everybody bailed on GnR!

GnR was no longer cool. Their music sounded outdated and weak compared to all the alternative bands.

Now that Axl has revived GnR with much better music, and much better live shows, GnR is now slowly becoming cool again. And if GnR ever releases a new video and does more promotion, GnR has what it takes to be the biggest band around again.

Mental institution isn't working for you :(

  4. TMS host Eddie Trunk reports that during the interview, which included guitarist DJ Ashba, he asked Axl about the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame situation (band is eligible and nominated; we’ll know mid-December whether or not they get in); new music, his lateness, this lineup, playing with Duff McKagan (Axl said Loaded will open some shows), and more.

That's great. Duff and Axl getting together! That's all I fuckin' care about!

  5. Were discussing Guns N' Roses (Axl, BBF, DJ, Tommy, Fortus, Frank, Dizzy and Chris) about being the greatest band in the world.

That specific group is not the greatest band in the world. You can argue that any way you want, for however long you want, and at the end of it, they still won't be.

    +1

  6. It's weird that, as soon as someone makes a thread like this, people like SOB (who barely ever posts here anymore) or others from ''the other forum'' start crying like a baby because their beloved Saul ''0 creativity so I keep making songs that anyone could think of'' Hudson isn't praised.

    Boo fucking hoo.

And who are all the nonames that start moaning all of a sudden.

Besides, GN'R is absolutely the best touring band in the world.

Let's see how the next album will be.

And where would they stand without the classic songs, the songs Slash co-wroted? Nowhere.

It's all about Slash huh? Izzy was a far more important factor to song writing in the old band.

Izzy: "Each song that I've recorded since I left Guns N' Roses, is the same type of song that I did when I was in GN'R. What happened then was that I composed a song, and then Slash added his part and Axl added his part, and that became Guns N' Roses. Whereas, what you hear when you put on one of my CDs, is the same ideas and the same inspiration that I had in Guns N' Roses but without Slash or Axl. It is the more basic version."

  7. Does anyone really think it's about money? I doubt it'll be a big seller.

Probably just Slash encouraging the artistic talents of his son.

Cash has the same art style as Slash and Ash Hudson. It's cool.

Exactly. Only stupid people would think this is about money. :fuckyou:

  8. He sings better today...

    nope, not a damn thing...

when he's in top shape yes he does. See last year's tour...and recent shows.

    :rofl-lol: :rofl-lol: :rofl-lol:

I put this on the pre-94 page and no-one had seen it before so i thought i'd share on here to get your insights?

    Edit: New vid link:

It has some real good quality audio on it too

    Enjoy :)

    Edit:

Is it the first vid of SCOM?! It's almost like he's introducing it for the first time!!!

Edit as i get further through the vid:

    First paradise city?!

"Think About You". I totally forgot about that song, fuckin' great!!

  9. This really touched my heart. He was being very friendly and that was something I would NEVER expect from him. He talked about Slash, he put a great smile on that story and he knows that deep inside, the time he spent with the old band was THE BEST! Fuckin' great to watch something like this. And the best part is that he was being like this with fans. Another good one uncle Axl.

  10. I can clearly hear some 'Fuck you' or 'Fuck you man' which is NOT Axl's voice. Then the, "Get away from me you fuckin' idiot'. Axl was yelling at someone in the back seat, no doubt.
