It’s such a refreshing change seeing this band jump into something head first.

My gut feeling is that something big is coming and that soon is the word.

Hopefully the General gets a digital release then. I’ll probably still get a copy of the vinyl regardless, if that’s the only way to get a physical copy.

This is all that we’ve wanted from the band…a real effort, and they’ve absolutely delivered.

Credit where it’s due. They’ve exceeded our expectations this time around and I’m happy to be along for the ride.

Has the band’s social media mentioned anything about it yet? Work has been busy today, so I haven’t had much of a chance to follow the thread.

Presumably midnight on Friday. We’ll know soon once Australia and New Zealand cross the date line.

I still don’t know why CD didn’t just come out in 2001/2002.

The locker leaks prove that it was ready to go. It seems like Axl was ready to release it until Bob Ezrin made the “three good songs” remark. 
 

Rough Mixes #1 + Hard Skool, State of Grace, and IRS. There’s your album. Done. Then you can finish the instrumental tracks for the follow-up.

Hopefully one day we’ll get the full story of how that early CD era went so catastrophically wrong.

I really don't get why people were making a big deal over Slash's solo. It fits the song.
