He made a name for himself. He became famous because he was always so volatile and impulsive - next to songs such as Jungle and Sweet Child and Paradise City, the next thing most people know of about Guns N' Roses is that Axl is kind of nuts.

Chinese Democracy is Back Off Bitch
Shackler's Revenge is My World
Better is You're Crazy
Street of Dreams is Since I Don't Have You
If The World is Live and Let Die
There Was A Time is One in a Million
Catcher In The Rye is The Garden
Scraped is Out Ta Get Me
Riad N' the Bedouins is Right Next Door to Hell
Sorry is Don't Damn Me
I.R.S. is 14 Years
Madagascar is Civil War
This I Love is Estranged
Prostitute is So Fine
Most of these judgments made by feel/tone rather than the actual dynamics of the music. A lot of these are a stretch as Chinese Democracy has a lot more songs about regret than the older albums do.
-
Like I said before though, their live show already has a ton of slower paced songs ... Maddy, Estranged, November Rain, Sorry, Patience, Don't Cry, and KOHD. Would rather see them add some faster ones first.
-
Oh My God, Scraped, IRS, There Was A Time, Yesterdays, My Michelle, Think About You, Catcher in the Rye, If The World, Locomotive, Civil War, Out Ta Get Me, etc. I'd rather have them do more faster paced songs; setlist already has November Rain, Estranged, Don't Cry, Knockin on Heaven's Door, Patience, Madagascar, and Sorry.

I think there must not be enough rockstars with moustaches around right now for Axl to place top 10. That said, I don't completely hate it, and I think the facial hair might be helping to keep his face from looking too pudgy or anything.
-
I gotta disagree and say that I personally care very little for Breakdown, and that there are 5-10 other plausible songs I'd rather see first.
-
I do not know anything about this guy. But from what i've seen. He looks kinda Gay.
The clothes he wears are slightly Fem. Am I wrong? It's Just an observation.
So what was your opinion of Axl all this time?
-
You can look at what Bumblefoot puts himself through and say he is not deeply committed and invested in the band? Of course you couldn't, because you probably don't even know about it.

Best lyrics on CD?
Chinese Democracy from "You think you got it all locked up inside" onward, Catcher in the Rye from "On an ordinary day" till the end, the verses of Better and There Was A Time, the "Sometimes I feel..." parts of Scraped, and overall as a whole song, This I Love are my personal favorites. It's not the depth of the words to This I Love, it's the power and the emotion of the vocals that carry it.
Weaker for me were the IRS chorus, If the World as a whole, and parts of Sorry that just seem to fall flat a bit ("i'll kick your ass like I said that I would").
-
Oh, here's another one that happened to me that show. Axl is cueing up Bumblefoot's solo. "Mr....Ron.....Bumblefoot....." and then I scream "THAL!!!" at the top of my lungs a second too early. Then Axl says in his more subdued, cool voice, "..Thal."
-
Bach's cool. They just gotta turn his mic down a bit so he's not shouting over Axl so much
-
Weirdest topic ever.
No trust me it's not.
The words "rasp" and "Mickey Mouse" annoy me to no end on here.
-
I felt kinda sorry for Adelita's, their soundmix in Kansas City was real bad, I couldn't hear their singer and I was in the front row. They played hard, just not particularly well. They weren't the right caliber of band to open for this.
-
The best thing to come out of the multi tracks was the demon voices on TWAT
I'd heard those before just through regular listening. But I never figured out what the secondary lines in Scraped were till I had the multis.
-
I can't blame the guy for joining GNR upon Axls request.
Anyone in his shoes would have done the same.
Props to him for helping write those tunes.
Exactly.
Guy obviously has some musical talent. Pretty pathetic to dislike somebody just because a guitar player doesn't like him.
Sounded like a clash of egos,or possibly a pissing match.Whatever, but Paul Huge/Tobias seems to catch flac for helping out by request of a longtime friend.I actually liked the Sympathy for the Devil cover, and fuck what Sorum says, seriously.
Maybe Slash hated Paul's suspenders.

Americans are harder to win over. Why is that? The obesity rate?
I would like to blame the gun laws, the Doppler effect, Apple, the other laws not about guns, Wall Street, plankers, freak-dancing, Freaks the movie, the World Bank, the Masons, Nicolas Cage, anabolic steroids in women's tennis, this fucking jar of queso that will not fucking open, the Internet, the fact that I can never find my TV remote, that fucking Coke can where I put the stupid bottle top on before I opened the tab and now I am to able to neither remove the cap nor pop the tab and it's been sitting on my shelf for two months since, and the Sorcerous Azoff the Black.

Clearly not enough Danes showed up to provoke them.
-
I'd ilke DJ to light a wick in one of his Jaeger bottle's and throw it into the crowd on cue for the Molotov cocktail line in Nightrain.
-
Slash hates that guy.
Well I have no opinions or intellectual capacity of my own whatsoever, so that'll do it for me.
I was just sayin'...
Wasn't aimed at you, just at anyone who'd follow that type of mentality. Holy shit this double quote signatures getting annoying, I'll have to lose the picture.
-
And it's his 666th post! It's all a sign! The setlist of Chinese Democracy II is written the movements of the stars!
-
I think they should load their confetti dispensers with spiders instead and use Oh My God as the show closer.

Showed up in my underpants.
