It's not so simple, I'm afraid. The "something" could cause drama that no one needs right now.
This. Plus having two drummers is a bit Spinal Tap for me. It's ridiculous.

Yeah well then don't get me started about the things Axl has done and said over the years.....
I get that - though to me Axl was like the last man standing, fighting his own crusade to do what he believed was GNR's future, and against a lot of people that dropped him (or that he alienated with his difficult behavior). Altough this is what makes him so interesting to me at least.

Oh yeah, Axl and Slash have said and done nothing bad in the past 20 years.
A Big dumb kid? Well at least Steven is getting to play songs with his band Guns N' Roses unlike you who is just sitting at home doing nothing, you got no sympathy for him? Did he punch you or something?
Well Axl, Slash and Duff got no problem with his childish behavior, Frank and Melissa are getting along with Steven too, so when they don't have a problem, then why do you have one?
Calm down will you?
I just don't like the guy, from what I've seen and read in his interviews. I believe I have the right to do so. I find him uninteresting. He hasn't been in the band for 25 years and played on two studio albums only. There's plenty of history, material and tours that happened without him.
I appreciate that a great deal of fans are liking him and his contributions. I just don't. That's all. I certainly did not like his repeated 'hacks' comments about the NuBand. Given that he fucked it up for himself, he was misplaced always attacking people that took nothing away from him. He did it all to himself.

Frank is GN'R's drummer. Adler spent DECADES creating problems for him, his bandmates, his family etc. It's nice that he can get some kind of closure but Frank's been reliable and played for the band for years. He deserves to be behind that kit too.
I like Adler's drumming, but I have no sympathy for the man. He's deeply annoying (to me at least) with his childish behqvior and over the top enthusiasm. He's like a big dumb kid.
Seems like it was another great show last night! Can't believe there's only one more to go before the (Axl/DC) break!

That's not what I meant at all, facepalm yourself.
I'm talking about us the crazies on the fan boards - the first shows generated plenty of pages, now the dust has settled a bit for us nutjobs, that's all I'm saying.

yeah it's pretty dead...
You know nothing special happened (besides a kick-ass show of course) when you log in and the thread's only 13+ pages or so.
I f they had played something new (another UYI or CD song, Slither, etc. With a brand new song it would even explode).

I understand the focus on the 3 original guys, but to me Frank and Richard are in Guns N' Roses as well. In fact, they are featured in official pictures, inside the CD booklet. What does it say in the NITL tour book? They are listed as band members, not additional players.

Thnk you for leaving the band introductions after Coma!
Frank was surprised with the "10 years anniversary" comment lol.

What the fuck happened to this band...??? LMFAO.
Slash and Duff are back?
Nothing wrong with prepping for a show you know, the guys in the band do their own thing as well.

I voted 'No' because I don't want them to do it just for the sake of reclaiming. I want them to do it if they just feel like playing a little longer, something spontaneous.

@Tom-Ass rest assured, I'm not butthurt - you have your opinion and that's cool and you have every right to feel and think the way you do. It's just that you state it repeatedly in every show thread and it's kind of annoying, at least for me. I like CD a lot and I'm happy that I can listen and view videos of them played at the shows. And I hope also that I'll get to see them being played in Europe at some point.
All is cool, in the end we just have different opinions. And we love GN'R, and prefer some specific era(s) more than others so there's passion in the debates.
On topic, regardless of all the 'insider' things we read, I just want everything to be cool between the guys in the band, and that this regrouping will bear fruits in the form of new music. Slash playing CD songs to make Axl happy is one step in the right direction. Axl potentialy singing some VR is another. Once their musical chemistry is well in place, who knows - we might be in for a treat.

@Tom-Ass there you are again, spewing the same old rethoric. You sound like a broken record, and a bad one.
The Slash video you mentioned is not recent at all and he didn't say anything negative about the album.
You don't know if they're 'forced' to play the material or not, it's just your personal and endless story.
I do believe they put a lot of thoughts in building the show. And CD being a GNR album, it's logical that it's represented. With the flavor and approach of Sluff. Deal with it.

Guys, stop reading too much into everything. They're rebuilding something that was destroyed for 20 years. It does not happen overnight.

The people that want this are probably the same ones that wanted NuGuns to re-record Appetite
I still want to hear it, though I never wanted it in the first place. The band did it while prepping for 2001-2002 correct? If it's in the can, I don't mind hearing it - at least out of curiosity. He'll I might enjoy it, who's to say.

Tkx MyGNR staff for the answers & tips. I erased all history, emptied my cache, all passwords etc. from Chrome and now it works fine across devices. Hope this might help fellow forumers.

Guys, can we all agree on the fact that they're back or what??? Axl is clearly taking things very seriously, bringing his A++ game. Right he's untouchable. The Sluff effect? Works also with Dush. Dash. Also I'm happy to see that people are praising Richard and also being cooler about Frank. Dude's giving his all. And I really like Melissa's backing vocals with Duff.

He did the same with Prostitute in 2002 during his piano solos.
And in 2006. Except that he was playing it note for note (faster). Here in the Seattle clip I only recognize some chord progression similar to TIL's chorus.
