  1. I wouldn't dream of wasting their time.

You mean like the time they have to waste dealing with false information people intentionally put out? Since you care so much about their precious time. I bet they've spent at least one PM dealing.

It's obvious you have an issue with me. Take it up over PM with me and HV, don't dilute DandN with shit like this.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're taking about, good sir. Care to elaborate?

  2. This is another fake account run by wfuckinga (admin on IzzysArmy). He calls it "parody" and send out dumbass tweets such as:-

@Slash @Engineer_Jim Last 2 records weren't just analog, they were shit

I had no intention of bumping the Izzy thread, since wfuckinga publically admitted he was responsible for setting up the fake Izzy accounts on Twitter etc, but since others are now being mislead by his fake Beta account I'll throw up the link again just so that everyone is aware:- http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/202836-izzy/

Not content with pretending to be Izzy, wfuckinga now pretends to be Beta.

I think this person should be banned. He is a major discredit to the community you're hoping to build.

  3. On a side note, why is the Halloween party "infamous"?

Way back pre 2000, someone wrote up a story about being invited to Axl's Halloween party...

First thing said was' Some of this is true, some of this is made up, I wont disclose which is which'... Complete dick move

Stories went on about how the band was there playing. I dont rememeber if new songs were played, I just remember a fatser thrashier version of My Michelle was played.

Ya, I've heard about that and saw the Kimmel interview.

I was just curious as to why it was considered infamous.

Tons of people have Halloween parties. The Tree idea is cool. One of my friends does the easter bunny thing for all the kids at their party. They hide candy all over the house and yard area and the kids go try and find it all.

Some people tend to over-dramatize things just because Axl is involved.

Axl throwing a Halloween party is an "awesome" thing and infamous.

Just kind of funny to watch.

You know who over dramatizes things? You. Every time you write one of your mind numbingly epic essays dissecting the most stupidly pointless points over and over and over again with no wit, no humor and no originality.

I used the word infamous lightly. Everyone knows Axl throws raging hollowed parties. Stop trying to act as retarded as soul monster.

  4. How is he not supportive? What is he not being supportive of?

Do I have to spell it out for you? Successfully releasing "Appetite for Democracy".
Wait... So you got Rock fuel to talk shit on Fernando, and then come post about it on the forum? What a lousy fan you are.
  5. My own personal view continues to be that Universal wouldn't be the problem in getting this thing released.

I've heard from a GNR source that Fernando is the most problematic factor in negotiations.
problematic for greedy film and label companies maybe. Perhaps he is ensuring the best deal for GNR and there fans?
    Not what I'm hearing.

    Do share. Who's you source?

  6. Considering what you've said about how much Axl resents the old guys and wants nothing to do with his amazing past, it seems kind of ironic that he still tours with the name GNR and pretty much has to play a set dominated by those old songs. Does he like playing them? Or is it something he has to sorta put up with? Do you think he'd be happier playing nothing but new songs? Even though I think it's weird that he wants to bury his past, if that's really how he feels, I could see it being quite depressing to have to go out every night and sing songs about his old bands drug addictions for the millionth time.

  7. Any real Axl fan will always buy whatever album he puts out - no matter if it's great or otherwise. I'm in of course.

This kind of thinking is so weird to me. Like I have some sort of obligation to a famous person i dont know to buy things I don't want.
    Ok, understand this point

but what if we aren't able to listen to it before it comes out? (so no leaks, singles or whatever avaiable)

I would have to hear some songs I like on th radio first.

  8. If anyone has the podcast, that would be the best!!!!

I have it. EAT MY SILKWORMS PODCAST - EPISODE 1 (250 mins mp3)

Hahaha. I don't remember it being that long. Can you upload it for us?!?!? I'm dying to hear it

OK, Winamp says 290 mins, when I play it, it ends with 71 mins :lol::lol:

    EDIT: DOWNLOAD LINK

Fuuuuuuck. I can't get this link to work on my phone. Advice from anyone?

  10. Trick question... There will never be a new GNR album.

But if there was, I probably wouldn't buy it.

i streamed CD on MySpace and didn't like it so I didn't buy it. It's hard to imagine I'd feel too differently about the extra leftovers that didn't make the cut.

Also, pretty impressive that out of the largest online GNR fan community, a whopping 35 fans are eager to buy this hypothetical new album. No wonder the label isn't in a rush to cater to Axl's whims.

The poll shows that as fans we are wanting to buy the music which is in contradiction to some peoples opinions that we are all downloading motherfuckers

No, this poll shows that 35 people out of a community of over 25,000 want to buy this album.

With that logic only 3 of 25,000 said they wouldn't buy it.

So you can smell the apathy too, eh?
