  1. I’ve always wanted to meet Slash and grab a quick photo or autograph. The GnR shows are obviously on a much bigger scale and really tough to meet the band, but i figured these smaller shows at clubs might be easier.  I tried years ago at a VR show at the spectrum in philly. No Slash but I did get to meet Matt.

Anyone have any experience with this?  I don’t want to stick around the venue and wait if there’s no chance of him making an appearance.

I’m pretty sure that my nosebleeds (upper level on the left side of the stage) were at least $75 each. I paid about $150 for the pair after fees.

Fair enough. I don't disagree with you in theory. The prices have been disappointing if you're an average guy like you or me. But the reality is that the biggest tours (Stones, waters, etc) are similarly priced. It sucks.

  3. The prices are nuts. No question. But why did you pay "top dollar" for nosebleeds at the Linc?  There were seats available for $35.

I went to that show. I also went to the MetLife night 2 for $25 (plus fees) because I got an email with a code since I went to a show before.

Even this past show at the Wells Fargo Center had uppers in the $50 range.

I would NEVER pay $250-275 for a ticket to anything. But there are cheaper options out there.

There was a bball game in Philly last night and a concert there tonight so they probably rented the Jersey arena to rehearse for the day.

Yeah it was definitely not the WFC.

Those guys are in for quite a surprise when they drive in for the show. The sports complex is bedlam for an eagles home game.

Agreed, they probably have another stage setup already in PA. I think this is the Prudential Center in NJ because of the red seats but I could be wrong. Katy Perry and Enrique Iglesias are playing in this arena before GNR, would they setup all the stuff here just to tear it down tomorrow?

Philly has red seats also, but after watching some of the live stream, its most definitely not philly. Dimensions of the upper level are way different.

Slash's girlfriend just posted a sound check video, oddly it says it's from New Jersey though ?

I just saw that. I guess it could be the WFC, but the seating behind the stage doesn't look like it.

I also suppose the NJ thing could be an error. Maybe they are staying in Jersey?  Right across the river. Who knows.

I kinda love there is no opener.  Also where on the site does it say a DJ?

It doesn't. Based on a response someone got from the venue.

I think they went on at 7:45 last time I saw them.

Maybe there is a reason for it.. Maybe there are going to play a longer show? Switch things up for the Arena tour? Have an intermission? Have two sets? The second playing AFD from front to back? With Izzy and Steven?

    All wishful thinking ;)

I mean, I'm with you. Would love to see them mix it up and play a different set. I just am not anticipating it.

Still nada on an opening band?

Also, my tickets say 8:00 PM start time but the Wells Fargo Center website says 7:30.  Given that it's GNR, I'm assuming we should NOT expect them to start that early, right?

"Show usually starts around 7... we go on stage around 9..."  :slash:

They've been punctual this entire tour. I would expect them to be on stage on or close to whatever time they are scheduled.

I just called to exchange my tickets for better seats at the same price. She told me I couldn't do it because of the no refunds/exchange policy. I told her to send me a copy of that policy because it was not in my confirmation email or with the tickets that were mailed to my house. After arguing that I never received a copy of the terms and conditions of the transaction, she expedited my request to a supervisor. Never take "No" for an answer.

I'm curious as well. The ticketing people are from some outside company that the arena contracts with. I have found that they have very little idea what they are talking about.

    That aside...

    2 days!
