The wife got me UYI 1 and 2 on vinyl. Pretty pumped about it.

What sections/price ranges did everyone go with? I'm still torn. Thinking I'll stick with $99 range which is like midway down the grandstand.
Edit: just picked up tickets in sec 28. Can't wait.

I know the capacity is only about 30,000 for this stadium. Does anyone think it will sell out quickly? Wondering if grabbing tickets now or waiting is the best optjon? I know for Philly I bought right away and kept watching more seats be released and prices lowered. I eventually upgraded. That said, I know thats a much bigger stadium, but also a much bigger market.

Gonna grab tickets saturday as well. Never been to this stadium before- any tips on where to sit?
i had pit in philly, then nosebleeds for metlife night 2. Would love to spring for pit again, but with the holidays that just ain't happening.

Agreed that there's tons of room. We went in shortly after the gates opened (didnt line up early) and still ended up on the rail on slashs side at the end of the stage. It was absolutely amazing.
Definitely more than 5 rows. I think 15 is a good estimate.

Slightly less than half the American voters voted for a man whose whole campaign centered around a wall to keep out Mexicans that he claimed they'd pay for. He began his campaign by saying the Mexicans that are here illegally are rapists and criminals. This was the last show in Mexico. If they wanna have a whack at a Trump piñata, who the fuck cares.
and for anyone whining about disrespecting the president-elect, look in the mirror. Your party disrespected the current president for 8 straight years. How quickly we forget.
So, how about an end to the political discussion. There's another thread for that, isn't there?
*my lack of responses to anyone quoting this isn't me running from an argument. It's me simply not interested in taking it any further. I am, however, interested in reading more reviews of the show. So keep em comin.

I know I'm just being greedy at this point, but have there been any rumblings of a return to the US in 2017? Would absolutely love to see an arena tour.

At the risk of sounding like a complete moron, I'll just ask. How did you do this?
its awesome btw. Closest thing we have to actual new recordings and it makes me long for a new album even more.

I messaged the artist on Instagram and told him the die hard a eagerly await his next creation on show day. He responded and was excited to know the fans were loving his works. He also said he was not picked for the Dallas show.
Did he do the devil litho for the second metlife show?

I have one from each of the two shows I attended, Philly and NJ #2. I was slightly disappointed that the NJ show wasnt numbered. Philly even has the artists name. I'll still hang both and enjoy thinking about how awesome both nights were.

I got the train back into the city, worked out ok but was slow. I'm pretty sure they won't leave people stranded there who are in line. It seemed like they were holding trains back to the city at that junction place. Don't think the concert finished until around 1. You'll be alright and don't have much to worry about, there were thousands doing it.
Oh man ok. I checked and the last train from secaucus on the line I need is 1:31. Do I have any chance of making it? They sure don't make it easy going on so late.
-
Can anyone who took the train from Secaucus share your experiences? I'm doing that today. Getting there should be easy. Wondering what time the show ended last night, how easy it was to get a train out after the show, and if you made connections home in time. First time going to this stadium by train.

Seems like an extremely similar situation to Chicago 2. They ended up coming a good amount of tickets but still had to close the upper sections. Same thing will probably happen here but everyone will still get a kick ass show.
I sent MetLife an email yesterday asking the procedures for closing the upper level (that's where I'm sitting tonight). They said they "have no plans to relocate" anyone. We shall see. I just looked at the map. Sections straightaway from the stage in the mid and upper level show no tickets (which is hard to believe). And many sections have lots of tickets available. I think they'll move a bunch today, though.

Got mine as I walked out. They weren't displayed, but off to the side. Just asked if they had any more. They're pretty big to just carry around. If you don't want to risk that, I saw them up on display right before Lenny came on. You can find them at the big merch trailer right after you scan your ticket
Thanks! I thought about bringing a poster tube with me, but I have no idea if they'd let me bring that in. I'll bring some rubber bands at least and hopefully keep it in good condition during the show if I can get my hands on one.

Anybody at the MetLife show tonight, where did you find the lithographs? How late did you find they were available? I'm going tomorrow, but won't get there until probably 7 or so. Didn't know if I had any shot at all.

I could see them not closing off the upper deck. Looking at the ticketmaster map (however accurate that is) it appears there might not be enough room to easily relocate everyone. It's not like there are any sections completely empty. My section (126) is one of the few that's completely sold though.
I'm totally fine not moving. I just wanna be prepared to go in with enough time to get new seats and not miss Lenny if they are closing sections. I've heard that process can get backed up closer to showtime.

Fyi I emailed MetLife this morning to ask if they may possibly close sections and what the procedure would be. Their response was "we have no plans to relocate any guests tomorrow". Take it for what it's worth. There are still a ton of tickets available, but it's obviously a massive market and they are running deals that may move enough tickets to keep every section open.

I was just looking for the 7/24 thread and can't find it either
Ok. Glad I'm not going crazy.

Checking the map, there still seems to be sections with no tickets that I can't imagine they are even releasing. The rest of the stadium has a bunch available, and they seem to be adding some more floor seats. As far as I can tell anyway.

Same reason I don't care that the set lists very little variation, I also don't care what potential new music sounds like. As long as we get new music. I'm a fan of all of the stages of their sound. I feel like whatever they put out will continue to be an evolution in their sound. Hell, even CD would've had a more nostalgic feel with slash and duff. So for people that are saying they don't want CDII, keep that in mind.

And they gotta sell 500 of them. Damn what a shame.
Not a fan. So many creative options they couldve gone with. That said, looks like it's numbered to 400. And they will all go with a sold out crowd.
Off topic- anybody see the 7/24 thread? Maybe I'm just missing it.
