Fahh Q.... I mean congratulations ;) Atleast there will be 1 more real GnR fan there...

I'm interested to see the crowd. I imagine it will be a mix of die hards, people who got given tickets and don't care that much, and celebrities.

Congrats. Now you've told us this you have a duty to provide updates, photo's, a review and even a livestream. :P

I'll definitely check in, likely after. I saw them twice last summer. The first time I was on the rail in the put on slashs side. I got great pics and video, but I regretted focusing on stuff with my phone. Glad to have the memories though.

That's fucking awesome man, congrats. Once in a lifetime thing. Who emailed You? Sirius?

My buddy got the tickets through a connection he has. It's literally the only time in my life I've backed into something because of who I know haha

Glad you are able to go :headbang: Section 108.  We were in Section 105 for AC/DC which is the opposite side.  The sound was stellar and we had a good view of the stage.  You are a little farther away but to me unless you are in the first ten rows what's the point? you have a better overall view this way and the sound hits you dead on IMO.

We are 108 as well. Pretty much what my thoughts were upon looking at the virtual seat viewer. A little further away, but a straightaway and full view of the stage. And it's an arena, so you're never all that far away.

Ironically, it's similar in location to the seats I had to the show in December 2002 when Axl was a no show. One of the most disappointing nights of my life (had never seen him prior to then).

Smaller screens, less stairs, better sound. I'll make the prediction that the arena leg will be the best we hear Axl sounding on the entire NITL tour. Should be the best shows to see as a fan

They also would've been on the road for months by then so they should be in the best shape by then. Plus the sound is infinitely better in arenas than stadiums so all of these reasons point to them being the best shows of the tour.

Really wish I could go to the Forum show. That will be absolutely epic.

Exactly what I was hoping/thinking with the sound. Axl has moments where he sounds like vintage Axl, but I keep hearing the best reviews from his arena shows with AC/DC.

  4. With the upcoming run of arenas in the US this fall, it will mark the first time on this tour they've had a specific arena leg of the tour. I know they've previously played Vegas and a couple smaller indoor stadiums, but what changes should we expect to the stage and overall show?

For those who were in Vegas and also attended stadium shows, how did they compare?

Got tickets today!  Lower level.    similar seats to what we had for AC/DC, and they were great seats, so I am pretty happy.  Excited to be able to see them in an arena!

Whereabouts?  We are pretty much straight back from the stage in the lower level. Curious as to how good the view is from there. Looks like it should be great.

I have 4 to Hershey, PA. Grandstands section 28 5 rows up. Look like good seats. Face value $99 ($130 with fees). Let me know if anyone's interested.

Has anyone had luck selling on Ticketmaster or StubHub?  It looks like the resale tickets on Ticketmaster for Hershey haven't moved in quite a while. But they also have them priced high.

Any recommendations on where/how to sell these tickets?  Not really looking to make any money. Just don't want to be left holding them and eating the money.

I got the tickets through the Ticketmaster app. If you search for GNR at Wells Fargo it will show four sale date options.  At the top is a box to enter a promo card, which is the first six digits of your credit card ( no dashes or spaces). It has to be a Citibank credit card though.

Prices for Pit/Floor came up at $254, lower sections were $149 and the upper levels were $69-$103. Good luck!

Thanks for this info!  I don't have a citi card, but I looked around at tickets with a nightrain membership. Holy cow so much of the lower level is $250. I was really only thinking that the closest sections would be.

Says there a previous purchase presale Thursday. I went to both The Linc and MetLife, so hopefully they will email me a code?  Has anyone else gotten one?

If I can't find anything there worthwhile, I'll just wait for the public sale on Saturday and take my chances. I have tickets to Hershey that I'm going to sell if I can land these tickets.

Just got my tickets with the Citibank presale.  I am freaking out! I saw them last year at the Linc and the NY/NJ show and thought it would never happen again.  Now we've got Hershey and Philly this year.  :headbang:And    @charliehoodger  I saw Axl/DC at Wells Fargo too and couldn't agree more about the sound there.   It's going to be awesome.  Maybe even rad and lit.

I don't see any presale links on the Wells Fargo site. Is that where you got them?

also, what's the pricing breakdown for seating like?  As in, what parts of the arena are the $149 and $103 seats?

I don't know about you,  but I spent $200 for "box seats" that allowed me to pretty much watch GNR on TV, outside in 100 degree heat, with utter dogshit sound because we were to the side instead of head on. Go check out the the Philly reviews. We certainly weren't unique in our reaction to it...

Sounds like your experience was more a result of your location and what you paid. I had a great time and thought they sounded amazing. I didn't talk to one person who had a negative experience. Sorry that's how it worked out for you though.

The biggest gripe I have is the fucking prices again.. They are alienating so many people with pure greed... I know a lot of people that want to go but can't or won't because of the prices..

That's not true at all. The best seats are ridiculous. I love this band but would not and could not drop $250 on one ticket. However, there are plenty of cheaper options. The show in philly in October is as cheap as $63.
