Seriously, I think Lee Greenwood, sam moore and toby keith did a good job. The rest was indeed awful. At this point who cares.

Guns n Roses hasnt written a bad song to this day
It's like saying AC/DC has never written bad songs. It's very true from a die hard pov but the reality is every bands have fillers and GN'R made a lot of fillers.

Complete opposites. But I guess if you can see similarities between Tommy and Duff, you can kinda understand why a Slash follower like Ashba would be welcomed to a band like Guns by Axl.
Having Bucket and Tommy in the same band was even weirder or at least just as weird.
Both Dj and Tommy seemed to have a certain camaraderie going on. A lot more than with Bucket. Tommy said many times they had a blast on stage with the last lineup.

Tommy said in one of his interviews he told Paul Westerberg about Axl offering the gig and him not being sure or whatever and Paul said: "you should do it, it would be cool just cause no one wants you to do it" or something like that.
The former bass player of The Replacements joining Guns N' Roses was probably a defiant move to him. Westerberg is a cool motherfucker.
that's punk rock. "That wasn't supposed to happen, but I'm glad it did."

Tommy never liked GNR anyway and took the job as almost as a joke that turned into a long term thing
so don't sweat his opinion about old GNR songs
from the same interview:
How did you score the Guns gig, by the way?
I was rehearsing in the same rehearsal hall as Josh Freese was and he had already joined the band and was playing with them. He just kinda joked at me, saying, “Hey, we need a bass player, you should come. Try it out, man! We’re just having fun with it.” I kinda went out there on a lark. I learned a couple songs, just went out there for fun and to see what it was about and not a whole lot happened after that so I had the gig. I was like, “Sure. Why not?” I mean the idea after I talked to Axl about it, you know, what he was trying to get done after everyone quit the band, I thought was pretty fuckin’ ballsy and cool. So I was kind of in for that reason.
You said you learned a couple of Guns songs. Were you a fan already? Did you go out and buy Appetite for Destruction or something like that?
No, I learned a couple, three songs and kind of winged it. I didn’t really contemplate a whole lot more than that. I was kind of testing myself as well.

I don't think they actually know Beta.

Black market cds did tremendous good to spread word of mouth in particular when you look at Russia eastern europe etc... Now everybody have access to Youtube and such, I think it still helps big bands but it becomes harder for new bands to come through. Bands need to change their setlist regularly and it affects all the mystery you paid for.

Just waiting for Bone
Yeah... When time's right I guess. Dream No More should be next. I know James particularly likes Murder One, so we might have to wait.

Stinson wrote Riad N' The Bedouins. I'm pretty sure he hates how it turned out.

It suits the new record better. Memory Remains, King Nothing, Hit The Lights, Sad But True kinda inspired Hardwired.

I don't think it's humanly possible for me to roll my eyes hard enough at the idea of Chi Dem's release being "premature".
It does sound like unfinished to me: Catcher In The Rye, Madagascar, Revenge, Riad, Scraped etc... It has more to do with recording issues and getting the mix to a good level like Bumble said once. Again just trickeries.
We already know that Axl was unhappy with the artworks and stuff. Here is Axl talking about that:

If you have the right tools in order to share it with the fans for maximum quality then I'm ok.
But I do think Periscope is cancer. I don't like the trend of snapshat or instagram at all.
