I agree on frank. And I feel like an arse but I don't think he's a good enough drummer full stop. For many reasons.

I think the stadium as a whole was just a bad choice of venue that exposed the floors worse than what a good venue would. The crowds these days are shocking, going to a venue to record it on a mobile is just alien to me. Especially if 30 thousand people are doing it.

The emo does nothing for me and I'd rather her gone too. I've said many times on here that I don't get the point of her. That still stands.

Axls current limitations were exposed and he admitted as much on stage. At least he's aware of it and I expect a change of venue, a days rest and some tweaks and we should see improvement.

Unfortunately at 57, Axl is like a racehorse, he's going to need a few runs before he hits top form. That doesn't help people who bought tickets at the first couple of shows unfortunately but as you said mate, there's a lot of issues st play in this performance.

I dont think theres any real excuses for Axl or the band sounding off or so bad.

Classic examples here are aerosmith and the rolling stones.

They nail every concert and it doesnt matter if its their first show or not. Pure professionals and they are all late 60s, 70+ years of age.

    This!

Ive just watched that slither clip, and I've got to say, what I saw wasn't all axls fault.

That venue doesn't lend itself to good acoustics. It sounds hollow, Tinny and you could hear it reverberating around the stadium.

Secondly, crowds in 2018 are shite. Maybe they were just put off by what they could hear, and their reaction of being uninterested was the result of that I dunno,

but it's a shocking atmosphere and the crowd didn't help.

I know playing stadiums is where the band wants to be but bigger isn't always better, I'd much prefer smaller venues, better acoustics, full crowds and an atmosphere.

It just seems to me that a lot of people in this crowd didn't even know this song... make of that what you will, but even if slither was average, walking off in the middle of it (which is what I saw) wouldn't be my reaction if I knew the history of the band and this song? Which brings me back to crowds, generally they are lame these days trying to film a song they are at a live concert at, makes no sense to me.

The more I see the more I'm actually prepared to give Axl the benefit of the doubt on this.

    Just my opinion though.

I agree to everything you said. Lame crowd atmosphere, bad sound, etc.

After watching again I will have to include the band wasnt crash hot either. Axl wasnt the only problem here with his vocal struggles.

The blue haired one was just plain annoying to watch randomly head banging even before the song starts to kick in.

Frank was all over the place with the drums timing and sound. He did not play the song anything close to the original. He to me is the biggest problem with the band's sound. The bands sound doesnt mesh well with franks style at all. He slaughters every song. He might be a nice guy but the band really needs to fire him and get a better more suited drummer.

Slash and duff were good. Fortus seemed good but low in the mix.

Heres hoping Frank gets fired after this show and axl gets some help to get his balls deep rasp back.

  4. New Dizzy reed interview. Translated from russian. Another cock tease regarding new songs

    http://m.fnp.de/nachrichten/kultur/Rock-n-Roller-ist-kein-leichter-Job-sagt-Dizzy-Reed;art679,3004573

Did you make the solo record because Guns N 'Roses will not have anything new in the near future?

REED: Did you read that somewhere? No, that has nothing to do with each other! We have many new "Guns-N'-Roses" songs in the drawer. One day we will certainly publish them.

Seriously, will there ever be a new record of "Guns N 'Roses"?

REED: I hope so. I have heard this question a thousand times in the past few years. I can not give a satisfactory answer to that. But since I am an optimistic person, I assume that one day it will be so far.

this is the lamest PR for any concert ever.

Duff MCcagen, song called Do not cry... Guess if they will play new songs :)  :)  :)

The band got an offer, they accepted for good money and they will play a regular set.  They don't give a flying fuck and most probably they have no clue of Soccer WC, as is case with most ppl in the US.

    Axl cares about soccer

    😊

  6. @Fernando thanks for taking the time to drop by our little forum.

Would like to first thank you and your mother for looking after Axl because if it wasnt for you both I have a feeling he wouldnt of made it out of the 90s. He seems to be in a great place now.

Just a few questions if you are kind enough to answer I would be grateful.

First question I have is axl recording for ac/dc? It was mentioned by angry anderson he was.

Second question would a new tour be on the way for acdc? Would love to see axl/dc down here in Australia.

Third and final. Will guns n roses mix up there setlist on this leg of the tour and include songs they have not played yet?

    Thanks for your time.
