  1. Anyone wanna meet up? Staying with my sister who lives here, near Sacre Coure, and will go to the venue 3pm. Golden Circle.
  2. And they praised Slash. These Slash fans are the worst! translation: Among the audience, singer Axl Rose's calving voice was the conversation on the meadow. His voice has lost tremendous strength. He stays afloat on stage, still has energy, but not much remains of his characteristic voice. But it's Axl Rose standing there, the man who grew with his band in the late eighties to become one of the biggest rock bands in the world. 'Do I hear Donald Duck singing here?' one man joked in the audience. Witty comment, but it wasn't that bad, although Rose's thin vocals regularly ended up in screams. He clearly had trouble with his voice. It became all the more painful when bassist Duff McKagan, who has been with Guns N' Roses since its inception, took care of the lead vocals for one of the songs. Tuesday night there was a band on stage whose bassist sang better than the singer. Guns N' Roses performed on the field where Bospop was held last Saturday. Actually, Guns N' Roses' performance was supposed to take place in Landgraaf, but because ticket sales were disappointing, the concert was moved to Weert sixty kilometers away where Bospop's stage remained a few days longer for the occasion. That audience also had to have iron patience. The Americans' show lasted three hours and in the first two hours - very scanty - only a big hit, 'Welcome to the jungle', was played. In themselves, those three hours are admirable and you get value for money, but now only those hard-fans managed to stay awake. This was partly because there was a lack of interaction with the audience. But then comes guitarist Slash. He is the stable factor of the show and suddenly gives a swinging guitar solo after two hours. It's the turnaround the audience is waiting for. The guitarist is in a huge drive. The audience comes to life. It will be folded along. Everyone suddenly feels like this performance. At that moment, the box with big hits is also opened. The audience managed to sing everything along. But the decent show eventually stuck Rose's thin voice above all else. Especially during the closing song 'Paradise city' and 'Knockin on heaven's door' it again didn't sound good. The fans didn't blame the band, actually it was just a shame.
  3. The shirts from 2017(Sao Paulo) and 2018(Philippines) are thick compared to the Germany I got last week, which is actually pretty thin and runs smaller. MerchTruck is official because they even have it on the screen before the show. Not surprised they outsourced it though. Bought a Slash button down shirt at his own online store, but it is made by Dickies and even have the logo at the bottom of the shirt.
  4. No Locomotive? So big chance it will show up in Paris!!!… hopefully.
  5. They havent been to philippines in 5 years now. Rock in Rio next year. They havent played Bad Obsession, PTU, Farm in South America.
  6. Someone messaged me that he cannot comment on the video I posted in Youtube. When I checked it says indeed the comments are turned off and says Copyright Claim +1. My other concert vidoes(Hollywood Vampires) dont have a Copyright Claim and comments are on. I dont really post much vids in Youtube but what does this mean?
  7. Yeah he said that is what he will see if he goes to Heaven.
  8. here are a few more pics guys, while Im waiting for the bus. Lol.
  9. Funny story. Woman beside me was lactating and she had this apparatus to gather the milk. She offered it to us. Someone(an older guy) actually drank it.
  10. Ugh. No Locomotive for this show. but at least no Witchita and Seeker(didnt check past setlist of this tour). German crowds(at least those around me) dont sing or rock n roll much except on November Rain, Patience and some choruses. I was the only one singing Bad Obsession and Pretty Tied Up even.
  11. Duff and Melissa just chatting during the solo of RQ.
  12. Finally! After 5 GNR concerts since the reunion(and always front or 2nd row), I finally saw Melissa. But still NEVER saw Frank, not even once! I even saw Beta 3x!
  13. Enjoy man. I'm already inside. Place is slowly filling up. Merch stand earlier was fairly empty(15 mins ago)
  14. Also, in the map, it says Adler Business Club! ADLER confirmed!!!
  15. I dont love Myles' voice but I don't hate it either. Some of his songs are very good, but some are bland as well. Apocalyptic Love is IMO, still the best album of Slash/Myles/Conspirators, and I like some of Alter Bridge's song. That said, I always prefer to see them live. Just rock n roll, nothing more, nothing less. Old school feel, not overproduced, too much lights, bells and whistles of GN'R.
  16. This would be very helpful to those who wanna go to the front!
  17. We can all hangout after the show if you guys are up for it. Already in Frankfurt btw.
  18. Thanks. also guys, are merch stands open during Early Entry?
