  1. my top 10:

    1) There Was A Time (And I don't care if anyone here hates that song or the new GN'R or Chinese Democracy)

    2) Estranged (one of the most epics songs ever)

    3) Madagascar

    4) Better

    5) Chinese Democracy (kinda like welcome to the jungle but with this strong angry fell that makes it all better)

    6) Dead Horse (fav track out of UYI I, followed by RNDTH and coma)

    7) Prostitute

    8) Rocket Queen (gotta love this song, hands down the best song out of AFD for me)

    9) Right Next Door To Hell

    10) Breakdown/ Catcher In The Rye/ The Garden (Can't decide between this 3 tracks)

  2. Don't really care to much, but I think It should deppend on what kind of song we are talking about, if its a strong song like Riad, Scraped, IRS or Shaclers Revenge or if it is a soft one like This I Love, Street Of Dreams or Catcher In The Rye... I mean I could see the guy who used to make the Marylin Manson videos (Floria Sigismondi was his name if I'm not wrong) giving it a try with Scraped or Riad, but I wouldn't like him to be the one who touches This I Love or Street Of Dreams for those songs I would like someone liky Marty Callner (Living On The Edge, Crying, Angel, Amazing) or maybe Andy Morahan for the stronger songs in the album (TWAT, Madagascar, Prostitute)

  3. Aerosmith, best band in the world, really experimental, capable of mixing Hard Rock, Heavy Metal with little hints of pop music WITHOUT losing their sound in the process, Always loved each and every one of theirs albums. Hell Honkin on Bobo kicks the hell out of TSI and comes from a band that has more than 20 years together

  4. Actually... for me it goes like this:

    1) Bucket: love his solo stuff and love his work with GN'R he gave me my favorite solos from this band

    2) Bumble: I know many of you don't like him but I really enjoy many of his tracks plus his really an experimental dude when it comes to his music

    3) Finck: love some of his job outside of GN'R and all of his job inside of it.

    4) Slash & Ashba: I can't decide betwen both of them becouse althoug I know Slash's work with GN'R and the only thing I have seen from Ashba for the band has been Mi Amor, BOTD and the alternative version of the solo from This I Love that he plays live, I really love his work with both Sixx AM and his own solo work with the band ASHBA, and althoug I liked some of the work that Slash did after he left Guns he didn't really impressed me until the song Anastasia came from his last album and Ashba really impressed me with many of his tracks outside of GN'R so I can't put one over the other I guess I would Put Slash for the old times and Ashba for the new times, both of them are great, and both of them are really talented so I won't start figth to determinate whom do I like the most, I'm just going to enjoy the music from both of them.

  5. Maybe they do, but in the end of the day I think they will still chose to realese their own music (aside from GN'R) than figthing with Axl and getting themselves in an odd situation with the entire band, you gotta see it like this:

They do as they please as much as Axl do as he pleases just becouse they all have their own lives outside GN'R and maybe (just maybe) they don't care that much becouse they know that they can always realese their own music to their own fans if Axl doesn't want to realese music or writte music with them... Just what I think.

Also I feel that Axl is holding back a lot, maybe trying to figure out what should be the next step with Guns N' Roses and what kind of sound he wants to use for the next album... maybe thinking what can I do with all of this songs or trying to writte songs of his own that he needs or likes to do but for some reason doesn't want to realese them, maybe he's not sure about them or maybe he fells they would be to hard to sing them live or something else... Or he just doesn't care that much about putting out there music right now and he only wants to play live shows like he's been doing for the last 4 years, enjoying himself instead of to please everybody in the planet :D

  6. Interesting thing to say, my fav album from GN'R untils now its Chinese Democracy, and of course I love AFD & UYI but I think the next album will be different from the old ones (Including CD). How it will sound? I don't know but I bet it won't be the same, Axl will reinvent himself again thats for sure, and I just want to know what hes going to do now with this current line-up

  7. I've noticed that among the old school fans, but especially in the press, there's a sort of focus on AFD and the AFD era--Almost to the exclusion of Lies, the UYIs and TSI...I know most old fans like those albums but they seem to be generally overlooked in favor of AFD. It almost feels at times like old GNR only released one album with the ratio of talk that AFD gets in comparison to the other albums...And with the media it seems like Lies and the UYIs and TSI are totally just ignored or forgotten about today, even though Lies was a hit and the UYIs were massive hits in their own regard. So, why is there such a focus on AFD?

Becouse its their first big succes and their first album overall... thats why it doesn't mean that they don't have better albums (My personal favorite is Chinese Democracy followed closely by Use Your Illusion II) but the first big one is always the most remembered but then again everyone is entitled to their opinions
