  1. Well, personally I love Tommy Stinson's music way more than I love Duff's songs, Village Gorilla Head is still one of my favorite albums from the 00's and he's one hell of a player, but he did choose the replacements over GN'R in 2014. Can't blame Axl for moving on considering how loyal Axl was all those years where he could just go back to Duff at any given time and he didn't precisely to keep his good friend around. So all in all, I think there are not hard fellings there. Hell I would be surprised if Axl never called him again in a friendly manner or brought him back if this thing with Duff doesn't work out.

  2. Wait a minute Hector, why wouldn't Axl allow a gay man to be in his band? As far as I remember he played in Freddy Mercury's tribute along Sir Elton John back in the 90's, an iconic gay figure in a shoe to pay tribute to an artist that would dress up as a woman in his music videos, Steven Adler (former drummer in.case you didn't know) was basically a male prostitute with a drum kit. So why on earth would he suddenly start to care now about what his band mates do in their private life?

  3. Well, one could argue that:

Izzy and Axl have always been underground, they rarely speak and Axl could just be trying to let the rumors die off until the next time we see GN'R and they are ready to go back out there again with or without Slash/Duff (this would also mean that the hiatus might be longer than what most believe it's going to be)

Slash already said what he had to say, and then went hiding because of all the speculation he started

Duff doesn't do that many interviews and plus he is also working on a solo album just like Slash

Adler actually believes the rumors and is doing his best not to give a reason as to why he shouldn't been there (had he started tgis years ago he would probably have a chance)

Dizzy I don't know, but I don't think no one doubts that he's still in

Pitman when was the last time he did an interview? If I remember correctly (and I could very well be wrong) the last time it was a day before Going Down leaked (thank you Pitman for pissing of some hoarder out there)

Frank and Fortus: the first one just appeared in GN'R's Facebook to promote the bands products, something he wouldn't be doing if he wasn't a part of the project anymore and the later one has done quite some interviews where it leaves clear that he's still inside the band.

Tommy: same as Pitman, but according to the last interview he did, it seems he wants to take next year to work on his solo career (great new for me as I'm a bigger fan of his solo albums than I am of any song Duff has ever written (no offense to Duff) )

    Ron: out

Ashba: out with a "moving" letter

Buckethead: if you get him to come back I will give you my house.

Robin: if you get him, I'll might let you sleep on the couch for a while

Brain: if Ferrer is still he won't take his spot

    Sorum: almost important, almost.

Gilby: he's the guy that Sorum looks up when he wants to feel important.

Paul: probably will still be featured heavily on the next record if it comes out but he won't be a part of the touring line up

Tracii and the rest of the originals pre Slash/Duff/Adler: no one knows, no one cares and dead, so I think we don't need to worry about them

  4. But no one is getting conned, that is just not true. You go to see a GN'R show and you get GN'R maybe not the most popular lineup, but that doesn't mean that it stops being Guns N' Roses. If the majority of the world agrees with you (personally I don't think the majority of the world cares that much) that means nothing. There was a time when people in Germany really believed that Hitler was the best thing for Germany, but now I think its fair to say that they were wrong, countless of ideas and concepts over history have been believed by majorities, that doesn't make them right or true.

You want to use the fact that a reunion might be happening as proof that Axl doesn't see the latest embodiments of the band as Guns N' Roses, but you offer no proof of that. You claim that all the members are out but Dizzy, Frank, Fortus and Pitman haven't said a word and for what little has come out of their mouths indicates they're still in (talking about Fortus, Dizzy and Frank here) so why would he keep any of them if they weren't part of his band? If they were as you say illegitimate? Now you're also forgetting that there seemed to be plans already for 2016 before DJ Ashba left, meaning Axl had plans that included the latest lineup minus Ron Thal. Now him leaving probably did change a lot of what was happening inside the band. So at the end of the day I think is sure to say that Axl is not reuniting because all of the sudden he stopped caring about this lineup and that is more likely that he just needed a new bass player and guitar player at the same time that he had made amends with Slash and Duff.

  5. Really when did Frank and Fortus quit? And whatever was of Pitman? Funny you mention that the new entity was made in 1995 when Slash left in 1996 and Duff and Matt in 97 but alright, even if it is a new legal entity, this new legal entity is still Guns N' Roses why you may ask? Because the owner of the name says so. Sadly you don't get a say, just as your neighbors don't get a say if you divorce and marry another woman and decide to have sex with her in the same bed where your wife used to sleep. They might be angry because they liked her better than you, but it is still your house your rules, your bed and your new wife.

If we go for that account Guns N' Roses never released anything because they only lasted a few day before Tracii Guns and the others left and were replaced by Slash, Duff and Adler.

  6. Yes, but the difference is that you're not Elvis, you aren't related in any way to any Elvis project and you don't own his name either.

Meanwhile Axl Rose created the name Guns N' Roses before he came to be in a band with Slash, Duff or Steven. He also promoted, recorded and wrote under that name along with them and Izzy for a long time, but during that period Adler got fired, Slash, Duff and Izzy quit and Axl carried on with the name (something they agreed upon before they even got big). If you have a problem with Chinese Democracy being a Guns N' Roses album why don't you call Slash and Duff and ask them why did they signed of the name to Axl.

  7. One I'm not in your house. Two it is a matter of fact than the only GN'R album of new original material since Slash and Duff's departure is Chinese Democracy, whether you like it or not Slash, Duff, Steven (whom lest be honest will not be back) and Izzy were not a part of Guns N' Roses during that time period, so their albums just simply don't count. All of them with the exception of Steven left on their own free will and (I'm assuming, mind you) that if they are coming back they will be doing so in their own free will as well, but that doesn't give them the right to take songs out of the set list just because "they weren't a part of that" and also it doesn't give them the right to go out and force Axl to play material that has nothing to do with the project at hand A.K.A Guns N' Roses. I know there are a lot of fans that don't see Chinese Democracy as a Guns N' Roses album, but that doesn't stop it from being what it is. There are also people that believe that the earth is flat (even this days lol) that doesn't mean that the earth will stop being round, or you will fall from the edge of the world any time soon.

  8. Maybe him leaving was more about releasing his album and doing something for himself thinking he wouldn't be able to do it while in Guns if GN'R decided to tour or do something in 2015. But now that he's done it and GN'R didn't do anything of what he thought they would be doing he wants to try get back in without making noise seeing as he didn't really never closed the door to the idea of coming back. Como to think of it, he never even made an announcement or anything, just quietly fade away.

Anyways I'm a fan of the guy and I really enjoyed his last album and many of the songs he has done on his own. This man is really underrated...

  9. Ok, lets make this quickly, the name of the song is Azaroth or something for that matter, the band Mago de Oz (great big band with more than one similarity with GNR) and the album is Finisterra I still can't believe people are comparing Axl Rose with Jose Andrea but each to his own. If you're still interested in the track or the band behind it, I recommend you to listen to Gaia II and III (subtitled La Voz Dormida and Atlantia respectively) as those have some of their most popular songs and the closer tracks are truly epic in a way that not even Axl has tried yet, multiple big name singers from the Spanish metal community in there. One last (and at this point obvious) little detail, the songs are in Spanish not English, hope now everything is clear for you.
