Since when opinion was about right or wrong???

The topic here is totally misleading and unfair to Ron. He didn't say he wouldn't perform with Axl in the future. She asked if WAS performing with Axl in the future (not if he would - big difference) - and currently there are no plans for that so he just kind of shook his head like "no - I'm not doing any of the upcoming GNR shows." People do like to create drama out of anything don't they?
Dude you're in a GN'R forum, you should be used to lots and lots of drama. It's like a damn Mexican soap opera.

It's a matter of perspective. If you don't like it you don't have to.
-
Would be cool seeing Slash and Bumblefoot playing a show together. I wonder if they would get along.
-
I like contraband but not as much as CD, there are individual songs that are on a similar level to the best of CD, but definitely not albums at least in my opinion.
-
What SoulMonster said, I know everyone loves Slash and everything but that's one of my all time favorites and judging by Slash's output I don't think he's gonna make it better. It's interesting for an alternative take on an already interesting song, but otherwise I just don't see it as being an improvement over the previous work.

Because people have been speculating about whether he's involvement in the project? Because he can? Because he doesn't want his fans to be disappointed when he's not in a show that didn't advertise him, but that some dumb journalists thought he was, or just didn't care enough to check and said it in some article?

Jajaja people take the wildest things around here to give themselves hope. Now Izzy saying "I'm not involved in any recording or writing with Guns N' Roses" means that they're definitely doing it, and it has nothing to do with all the speculation that has been going around the subject. C'mon I'm not saying it ain't happening but this doesn't confirm anything.
-
People will believe what they want to believe. Axl always keep the door open for Izzy in the past, if he's not in by now is because he doesn't want to. You can't deny that is good that he's at least reaching out now instead of having to let you down at one of the shows where he won't show up.

Not Slash, not Velvet Revolver. Unless Duff takes the lead vocals for those songs (or even a guest appearance by Myles Kennedy lol or he could be the third guitar player). Bumblefoot and Tommy did have solo songs on the setlist but they also sang them themselves.

Actually it was one of my favorite tracks in CD when I first heard it. Loved it from start to finish from the very first listen. Something I can't say about many other GN'R songs.
Loved Ron's take on the solo and wish it would have been played live during 06 or anytime after that.

Wonder if I'll ever see them in Venezuela again. Maybe if our economic crisis ends soon enough (can't keep me from dreaming right) they can come to visit.

Izzy yes, I might not be the biggest fan of his live playing but his one of the very best songwriters in Guns N' Roses, Adler however I couldn't care any less if he's in or not, I actually like every drummer that came after him better (minus Sorum) and while I do thank him for his wonderful work in AFD I really don't need him anymore.
-
Interesting, so Axl didn't kicked him out either... I was afraid that relationship had gone badly, his solo work is easily in my top 5 amongst the GN'R members. Plus I truly loved Going Down.
-
They should play Dash and Argentina. Jejeje I can already see Slash fingers melting, but now in all honesty I wouldn't mind if Axl reworked a song like Anastasia or Beneath the Savage Sun.
-
It's gonna be a cross between the two ways, but it will be closer to the most recent era of Guns N' Roses than it is to the way that Slash does it. For example i don't think we're gonna see a ten minute Rocket Queen or the old version of KOHD but we're gonna see Slash personal style in the songs that he plays. Also I don't know about the third guitar player, I don't think Axl is gonna let go of that idea so easily.
-
Jejeje if I had to choose an opener for a GN'R show, that song would be it. Then again my setlist would probably be hated by casuals.
-
Then fuck, anfuck and fuck you. Ñahh I don't give a fuck, I'm just happy there's a show for us to see. It will be interesting to see how things develop from now on.
-
Exciting times to be a GN'R fan. Does anyone else thinks that the hoarders could give some of their stuff considering they probably won't use them (and even if they do we can be sure that it won't be like it was ten or whatever it is the number of years they have had them)
-
Yes you're missing something, this seems to be a new lineup, not a reunion. A new lineup that features some former members.
So if some like Tommy better than they like Duff (such as myself) thats completely ok.

To be fair... Mother goose was at least a nickname that the band gave to him, it isn't funny but it isn't that bad either. Titman is just a stupid wordplay, god how I hate those, I have yet to see one that is actually funny.
-
Maybe is because I been watching to many videos from GN'R post 2001, but I do notice that as well, I don't know how to describe it, but I kinda like it better the way Guns N' Roses has been doing it since the Buckethead days.
-
There's also the possibility any member that isn't involved will want to try and get in (talking about Adler, Matt and Gilby)so that might be the reason why they aren't talking. To avoid ruining their chances.
-
So if he has been unwilling to tour for what 15 years now, aside from occasional dates here and there with ex band mates of GN'R, you seriously expect him to just go out to tour with said ex members around the globe just because... Reasons? I mean he's like a less productive non virtuoso version of Buckethead, he'll release whatever he feels like releasing but will do very little effort to promote it or tour behind it.
What lines (if any) from Chinese Democracy songs do you believe are about Axl's former bandmates?

I think people see what they want to see, and the same thing happens when they hear Axl's lyrics. They give them a meaning that fits their narrative even if there's no real evidence behind their theories.
