Del James finally made me laugh.
Iraq motherfuckerrrsss!!!!
What did he do to flip Del? That dude's crazy anyways lol. Can't forget that bird hand gesture.

I do sometimes. DDM, YCBM, DH, PerfCrime, You're Crazy, DNB are the ones currently in my workout playlist. But most times I turn to Metallica.

Finck.
Robin's guitar on this song speaks. It's Axl's inner monologue. What he's feeling but what he isn't saying.
I feel similarly about Buckethead's work on There Was A Time, Sorry, and Madagascar.
Phenomenal stuff.
Pretty much this. Everything this.

Sorry Slash. I love you but Finck for me since day 1. I still cannot come to terms with Slash's take on this no matter how hard I try to love it.

i really started respecting Dizzy Reed when he made fun of Izzy Stradlin SONGWRITING ABILITY
Everyone that makes fun of Izzy gets my respect -- right there and then -- specially when they make fun of izzys songwriting ability
DIZZY REED ON IZZY: Izzy used to be a great songwriter- his contribution to Guns N' Roses first album are phenomenal. But, its almost like the guy has lost the fire... I mean I saw the guy a couple years back in the studio... and he was showing me a song he had just written called "Toothpuller" - it was literally about him visiting the dentist and getting a tooth pulled out. [Dizzy then sings some of the lyrics] I mean... this is a guy who wrote some badass songs and now he's writing about getting his tooth pulled... I mean come on... can you imagine Axl singing that live?'
Given the extensive body of work by Mr. Dizzy Reed, his imense (its unmesureable, really) contribution to the art of songwriting, the many (many!) songs he wrote for GNR and on his many solo albums and also the stuff he co wrote for other great (seminal, really) rock bands like huh... yeah... huh... hookers and blow and... huh...
...and also considering that Izzy Stradlin only helped writing 4 of the best rock albums ever written in the history of mankind
...oh, and he only did like 10-plus really cool rock n roll solo records...
given all that, I came to the conclusion that this Dizzy Reed guy is entitled to make fun of Izzy Stradlin -- specially when it comes to the art of songwriting!
Dizzy Reed, such a classy guy!
...and what a songwriter!
Is that his mouth or his ass talking?
What a loon.

What if making him think he was gonna be the drummer was a plan to keep him in silence and not talking shit about the reunion of the big 3 ?
Never crossed my mind and you may be on to something there.
I sure hope they are not as mean as to keep promising empty hopes to Steven, with the intention of never fulfilling them... I'm afraid of the consequences....

Or this also means there may be light at the end of the tunnel, sometime in near future?
One can always hope, right?

Reading all these Izzy quotes makes me uber sad.
Axl was sooo back then. And doesn't seem much really changed these days.

It's great you like ITW, I suppose someone has to ?
I hated ITW like a kid hates his broccoli, but someone from here pointed me to a live ITW played by NuGNR few yrs back, and told me to give it a shot at at least liking it a tad, so I went ahead to give it a listen (always skipped this song on record and anywhere on youtube) and I had to admit it, it's not that bad when played in live setting.

able to tolerate each other
Ppfffttt.... they don't even dine together when they are on tour (at least one member we know of who doesn't really participate in those) what makes you think things will take an opposite direction during the break?

Axl will spend the time to get a six-pack...visible abs.. And, he will also work with his vocal coach every week as to not get rusty before the European leg.
Urm... it's time you wake up from your dreams.

He's genetically blessed with great looks... he just doesn't bother maintaining it I guess.

Couldn't agree more. The first thing I noticed too.

Never heard of this band until now, thanks for sharing coz I kinda dig her voice and the song.
Agree on the subtle similarity... funny thing too, at the end of the video it gave credit to "Goin' Down Inc"... another coincidence? Similar name to Tommy's Going Down with Axl's voice on it?

Melissa looks pretty fly for forty.
May the candy fairy continue to sprinkle Sour Patch Kid sugar-dust all over her ass.
Who knew the Fountain of Youth was really an enormous bowl of Skittles?
Where does it say she's forty? I thought her age is a guarded with life secret.
