You're right. If they do the same, year after year the demand falls precipitously, this is fact. But at the moment, they are doing exactly what must be done and are succeeding. In my opinion, releasing new music right now would be stupid. Putting 2 or 3 new songs in the setlist will not significantly increase the amount of audience in the stadiums and would probably ruin the "moment" of the possible new album. It would be a wrong strategy. They need to exhaust all the possibilities of this Slash and Duff´s return and, after that, yes  they need think about what to do.

I completly understand you sometimes it´s too boring  but again It's not the band's fault. Now, at this moment, they are doing exactly what they need to do. They still have a whole continent that has not yet seen this show. Besides that this tour even have not complete 1 year.. So we need to deal with this "same everything" or just take a walk outside the room and come back when something change.

He he that's what I meant by my previous post... if after 5 years, they are still touring same setlist over and over... I'm not sure I'll still hang around here (but who knows, I probably still will LOL)

But which the percent you think we represent on their millionaire status? How many hardcore fans you think they have on a stadium show? If every dissatisfied hardcore fan stop buy tickets they will´ll keep doing big money. Because the big money don´t come from us, the big money come from the casuals and it has always been like that.

The MyGNR forum is the biggest hardcore fan´s forum and how many actives users you think we are? 2.000? 3.000? The point is It's ok if you´re dissatisfied with the repeated setlist. But how many times did they do the same show and the same NITL setlist in your city? So it's not fair to blame the band for it...Because this is something we have to solve on our own, we decided to be hardcore fan by our own convenience.

;)okay.. if you read my prev posts above, you should notice that I did not complain of the setlist being stale. In fact I was defending why for this threeunion tour they will keep playing pretty much the same hit songs (with some CD songs thrown in because, Axl).

But I would dare to go as far as guessing (my opinion only) that if year after year... nothing changes... same songs... same employees... same everything... they may lose the appeal even to the casual fans eventually... :shrugs:

That´s a good point to think about. "to support the band"...how we exactly support them from the internet? How exactly this works? What kind support is it? To me what we do here is just support ourselves. I´m here because that brings to me some good moments, I follow every show and every news about the band because it makes me well and I worry about them because they give me something, it's not for charity, it's because I get something back. And all this I do on my own, from my own will..And when they stop giving me what I like, I just stop "supporting" them..They did not make me sign any contract..Ow, that´s good!

:P Sorry for being vague here.. I mean support by buying tickets to their shows and helping making these millionaires richer day after day.

When will people understand that it's the same setlist but for different audiences? Yep, same show, same tour... for different audiences...Makes sense for me! What's wrong with that? Ow..I get it, the thing is complain, that´s the cyberfans´s deal. C´mon guys, If we watch free shows online knowing that they belong to the same tour this is our problem. Get over it

Kinda agree with this. We've been following this band live (whether physically at the show or through periscope (though I've stopped watching periscopes altogether once their NA tour ended)) and admittedly, from the trend, already know their future setlist by heart.

Majority of other concert-going fans are just casual fans who also jump on attending hundreds of other bands' shows when they perform locally, so THEY obviously probably heard the songs played in IRL in front of their real eyes for the first time (maybe after tens of years).

Probably fair to sign a petition to stop supporting this band   IF they keep touring for the next FIVE years with the same setlist, without promoting any new album(s).

Wow, is there a ticket to that position in the stadium??

To each his own. But I would rather watch her from the front (as she has a good looking face and her voice is great, so that kinda go together), than watch some deflated balloons.

    Sorry if I offended anyone.

I could barely get through Jay Mohr. First and last time I've ever heard his podcast. WAY out-interrupts Adler.

Same first timer here. I still have the tab open with the podcast on, it's half way through, where Steven already came into the studio and talked about when he stole syringes from his granny's stash, that was two days ago when I listened, and I still haven't got back to listening again.

there ain't no contact, common dinners, hanging around.

common flight, seperate soundcheck, common stage for the gig, seperate changing rooms, seperate dinner, back on plane. period.

The reason why we never get to see pics of all three having dinners together. Nothing's changed apparently.

There's higher chance of us getting an album collab btwn Axl and Angus than Axl with his own band. At least we know he dined with Angus LOL.

The appearance of fat/bloating or whatever you want to call it isn't an indication of fitness levels either.

Just have a look at an NFL line. 300+ pound monsters with massive bellies but they can run faster and push harder than probably most of us on here.

This is true too. My brother in law is a weightlifter and is a very strong person and I can say pretty fit, nevertheless he does not take care of his diet hence his huge belly and overall a fat person.

Both are important. You can go on a diet and you will lose weight faster if you also exercise but if you just diet, you will look flaccid. The fat will not disappear, you gotta burn it out.

Both are important but diet plays a slightly more important role is shedding body fat than exercise. Having said that, I personally take care of both equally as a lifestyle as fitness and health is my passion.

The guy could be on medication you know. Lots of medication puts on weight. It may have nothing to do with diet. He is fit that's for sure. It's incredible to see him move so fast on stage. He's awesome to watch.

True that. We are not in the inner circle to know everything. It's speculation all the way.

Once again, what in the actual fuck does his personal trainer do for him besides mix his post gig cocktails?!

Frustrating to see that guy on tour with them everywhere and yet Axl doesn't look any better for it!

A total waste of money that guy is.

Really, you are a personal trainer, and the guy who pays you a tour around the world sports a huge belly... I'm sorry but that's bad publicity for himself.

Total clown. All he does is being goofy with TB and scratch his balls 24/7.

I know I'll be bashed by posting this... inb4 Pavarotti / Aretha comparisons.

The PT I guess, if he does his job at all, only focuses on working out, which I think Axl doesn't need anybody to help him that much while being on tour looking at the amount of cardio he does on stage. The most important part in getting back in shape overall is one's diet. If that part's slacking, there's no way he can attain a better shape. I'm seeing on this leg of the tour, Slash is making somewhat of a progress, compared to Axl. Not only does he look better, he's killing it with his guitar on every show.

Lay off those nutritionally empty calories from those beverages Axl... not doing ya any good.
