  1. "Lo and behold, though, the dubiously titled Not in This Lifetime Tour has endured 46 dates and counting, with a final 2016 gig scheduled Thursday in Mexico City. Reviews of their shows have been consistently favorable, with Axl Rose singing strong and behaving himself. The tour has also been a success story at the box office, too, as Billboard reported a gross of over $112 million in ticket sales as of September."

:lol::lol: sounds as if they were describing a child who's always playing truant in school and has delinquency issues.

Couldnt that also be perceived as a grand gesture as @Lumikki described he does too?

Thanks for pointing that out. I have to admit I did not read every post on these last few pages so I went back and read Lumikki's and some others. Yup, I guess I agree with that.

And the thing about Axl not being able to show affection. Well that is a given fact: children who have never been shown love and affection and how to communicate it, will likely never lern this later on. Poor Axl.

Well... he did reveal his affection toward Beta. In public. Multiple times.

    Please please please!!!

Can some English native speaker tell me what Axl is saying in the background of this video?

    It's fucking amazing!!

For a moment there before clicking it I thought AXL was doing the crow pose and I was about died there lol coz that pose is certainly not easy. Props to the guy for doing the pose and walking handstand.

Okay what a shocker on not being able to upload pictures. Well for some extra work...maybe we can download certain pictures and upload them onto some picture sites (the likes of flickr or photobucket or tumblr or whatever) and use links from those, in avoiding possibilities of the original links or sites being broken or taken down in the future.

Can we please stop the whole "This" nonsense when we want to express our agreement with a topic? Seriously. It's so overused now that whenever I see it, it fills me with the overwhelming urge to murder children.

    This.

But please don't go on murdering innocent children, I beg you.

It's terrible. One of my army buddy's aunt had her car spraypainted the very next day. I have had a very serious talk with my nieces and nephews about being careful out their. They said "Just because we're black?" I had to tell them that's only part of it...that it goes deeper than that.

Let us all pray for a better safer tolerant world.

I was on twitter and bumped into some funny brazilian articles with some behind the scenes of São Paulo shows . So apparently Axl ordered lasagna and stroganoff for dinner after the show, while Slash is having roast chicken. One of the titles were, and I'm not even kidding: 'Behind the belly: Axl Rose asks stroganoff and lasagna for dinner after São Paulo shows:rofl-lol:

Also Slash went with Fortus to the hotel gym at 1:20pm local for one hour and twenty minutes of training. Slash gave some attention to his chest and biceps, doing series of bench press with 20 kg and raised 12,5 kg for each arm on the fly exercise. I also found one article that said that Axl also exercise by doing some bycicle, so there's hope :P

Here's one of the articles if anyone understands portuguese.

    http://istoe.com.br/em-sp-slash-faz-series-de-supino-com-20-kg-e-axl-rose-pede-lasanha-para-show/

And sorry for sharing, just find it funny haha

What in the hell?  What's with these girls, their tongue and Slash? :rofl-lol:

What a funny coincidence as I made stroganoff yesterday but not lasagna... I used spaghetti.

And why was Slash bench pressing at 20kg? Must have been a typo. That's low for a man.

Possibly an unpopular opinion here, but I am glad that Guns decided on a reunion/nostalgia tour instead of deciding to jump right into writing music. Call me gun-shy if you will, but the last time Axl, Duff, and Slash tried to write music together everything went Kaboom and Slash and Axl couldn't even stand to hear each others names said for many of those years. I'd rather this nostalgia tour we are getting with the unfortunate chance we get no new music to the possibility of them trying to do new music first/right away and everything blowing up again and getting neither a tour nor new music.

Hopefully everything goes smoothly we will happily get both.

I think they are on the right track here, touring with the (incomplete) reunited members for what I hope just a couple of years, THEN only start sitting down together and lay down the tracks they want to put on a record by (some of) the original members. They need to take things gradually after feuding for so long esp S & A.

I couldn't make out what he said exactly.

"I started laughing during that song... 'cause ... and we were talking amongst ourselves in the ???. When we recorded that song, Izzy and me, we were ??? engineer ??? in Hollywood, and Steven was even more high (?) and finally ??? he pulled a gun on us. ???? his gun ??? our gun was real".

    :lol::lol: okay....that makes 'sense'.

Nevermind... great to know he still thinks of Izzy & Steven.

Funny, Axl specifically mentioned Eye of the Beholder as one of his favourites back in the day: https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=-O9p7ffw9MkC&pg=PA8&lpg=PA8&dq=axl+rose+eye+of+the+beholder&source=bl&ots=CvwVGBr2Y8&sig=MxAHeo1FjpPX0IGVryaUCwaOpz0&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwik5d_5_6DQAhWMKMAKHW2yDcMQ6AEINTAJ#v=onepage&q=axl%20rose%20eye%20of%20the%20beholder&f=false

And yeah, Kirk's not wrong for now. I'm still in the OMG CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE BACK TOGETHER stage and will be for another year or two, but after that I'll be dying for any kind of new GNR music.

I never knew we like the same song.

But my favorite Metallica song of all time is The Call of Ktulu. My favorite album is always their white album because of its political message.

Well I sure hope GN'R will prove Hammet wrong very soon. After all the excitement of mini reunion dies...please get your asses in the studio and give us some bad ass music.
