  1. Thats s good whish! Deserves all my support! Still few weeks for the miracle. Fingers crossed. I still believe in this hype http://inthejungle.9...topic=25526&hl=

2 albums done (22 tracks) why not Xmas 2012 or first quarter 2013. Cant believe more touring without surprises. The endless may stop someday

    :rofl-lol: !!!

You're being very naive man. It's impossible to put out an album in Xmas this year. I mean, there is only one freakin week left, release an album like that would be the ultimate flop of all times. New releases requires anticipation and promotion to sell well. Don't forget that this at the end of the day is simply a business. And you don't do business like that. Even an Early 2013 release it's doubtful, maybe a single, a announce or another kind of release (like a Blueray/DVD or Live CD) but a brand new album it's kinda more harder to release and take a little more time than that.

    Being optimistic, mid/late 2013 we'll have a new album. Probably 2014 anyway...

  2. I think no matter how good, sleazy or epic it would've been, a new GNR CD would've "flopped" at the time, but would've had tons of promotion money behind it, and would've gone platinum.

Axl should've put an industrial project out with Pitman, Freese, Finck, Youth & Howerdel with Trent Reznor producing (and a few guest appearances) and just put it out there under an assumed name and do a short club tour, and wear a disguise. I think Axl should've put the frontman thing aside for a few years and just had fun creating music, instead of try to outdo himself.

I disagree. A new album around then would not of been as big as appetite, lies, or illusions but it would not of flopped. Yes the music industry was quite different during that time, but gnr had the name, reputation, and catalogue to over come those things. Metallica remained relevant, so did van halen, ac/dc, and aerosmith. I see no reason why gnr wouldn't have also. And besides all of us long time fans were still there waiting. Gnr's fan base, as big as it is now, was twice this then. I believe the album that I spoke of in the original post would have gone to #1 and sold around 5 million copies.

I think that even a record with no promotion like CD would have been a succes if the band stayed together. No matter what, all the world cared about that guys.

  3. I felt sad but no because THE opportunity of a reunion was missed, actually I felt sad about Axl himself. I mean, that's a recognition that he deserved, and maybe even more than the rest of the guys (I'm not saying that they didn't deserved it) but he wasn't there, he just let the others take all the credit and even play with other singer in the name of Guns N' Roses. That was unfair, very unfair and I felt sad about him.

But in the other hand probably Axl didn't even watched it.
