Dizzy's part in RQ is cool
Love it. Even small things like this just totally lift the song and make it feel fresh.

I don't know, I was figuring You Could Be Mine would be gone from the set list. That really requires some screeching
I honestly think he did pretty good on it.. yeah it's not 2016 level rasp or anything but it was solid and powerful, all while being under attack from a mic stand.

Did Axl have an altercation with his mic stand?

The whole band just sounds great tonight, not sure what's changed but everything's just tight.

Thank god the Jungle intro has been cut shorter.

I've always wondered what it would sound like if Bad Obsession was run through a phaser
So... they should do Locomotive right?

New pants = new music? We've cracked the code!

Could be a good show, I thought Axl sounded a lot better during that Carrie Underwood duet.

I've always thought that too, but I accepted that he must have just been on a good run because not only were the vocals on point, his whole stage presence and attitude were back. So who knows

I caught them in 2010 and what I saw and heard was all Axl. I was front row and he sounded pretty much as good that night as he did in 2006 a little more Mickey maybe, but still mostly strong raspy vocals.Don't get me wrong, I think his voice was very capable and the rasp was there, but I think it was closer to 2006 or 2009 concerts underneath whatever's going on. It might just be a case of clever EQ and compression but it just seemed to push the 'rasp'.

Well... have a listen to WTTJ from the 05/31/14 show. For some reason on that night he sounded a lot more like 2010, very deep growly rasp.

Is it possible that during the 2010 era they were using effects on his mic to create those God vocals?
I've always believed that there was something on his vocals in 2010, hard to explain but the 'rasp' just seemed enhanced somehow.

Horrible mix.. makes it hard to enjoy tbh. Hopefully we'll get more.. better mixes.
Also.. George, Washington? 😂

The clinic seems to offer a fair few services but if I had to guess he'd likely be getting treatment for osteoarthritis in his knees/ankles/feet.
