    He can't avoid this.

I understand that Axl explained that he doesn't have a degree in political science. I understand that he is not looking for self promotion. But what he says on twitter ends up in the media if he is making some political statement. I don't disagree with Axl. I just don't think he can say he is nobody

I think his point is that he should be treated as "nobody", his opinion on the administration is no more or less valid than any other US citizen and should be treated as such.

  2. It can be weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, whatever... but not being able to follow a schedule just seems so unprofessional. Amateur Youtubers figured out long ago that a schedule keeps viewers interested and can help to grow the viewership. Instead, GNR just drops a video once in a blue moon, usually with little notice.

Wow Dizzy shares a Birthday with Sir Paul.

I share one with Joe Walsh and Duane Allman

Think its a Dunlop Tortex heavy. I use the same kind

I share mine with Duff lol

Regarding the band I honestly think there was a plan back in 2016, probably 2-year world tour followed by record.. but Axl happened. His demons and fears seem to hold him back, he regresses into laziness, loses his fitness, stops working on his voice, stops doing anything of meaningful progress. I reckon Sluff are just along for the ride at this point.

In addition to the above, I do think some of the instrumental demo's will appear in other works.

I've seen someone post Buckethead instrumentals that sound like Shacker's Revenge (not his original Shackler song with Bootsy Collins).

I've recently read there is an album by Siren Cues called Eclectic Cinema.  This features Melissa, Brian and Paul Huge - and someone said the track Cobalt is The General.  I've not heard the song myself.

I've also just read the instrumental demo 'As it Began' was released by Saive, feauring Richard Fortus and is called Goodbye.  Official link below.

Why... I really enjoy AIB. I will be really devasted if they've given this away never to be finished.

  5. That SCOM performance is just so weak. There's no power in Axl's vocals, he sounds out of breath the whole time. Go back to 2016-2017 he's singing it in the same clean style but with power and good breath control. He either needs to pack it in or suck it up and go see his vocal coach. Can't fathom why Axl's so cool with being unprepared and sounding like shit and why Slash/Duff just let it happen. No way am I spending £130/ticket to see that mess.

  6. It's just a bit odd that cover songs that were done as a tribute to the artists that passed away are still setlist staples YEARS later.

I think I'd buy tickets if they came my way again but I'd be disappointed knowing I'm either going to get the same setlist or maybe even a shorter set. Last time I saw them they did OTGM, TWAT, and debuted BHS. It's hard to get excited paying £150 for that.

Here we go!! I passed on the citi tickets, so fuck it.

    1. Axl will lightly announce that they are working on getting something out early 2022 and touring it.

    2. They play Locomotive, and it won't be the last time. I think this will be easier for Axl to sing than Coma. Since he layered the vocals on the album, he has some options here, so I'm guessing that he'll sing it based on how he's going at it that night.

    3. I'm talking out of my ass.

Knowing axl he'd do a little of each octave and it'll be weird.

2011 was more hit than miss, there were some great shows, 2012 was 50/50 but still had some great shows, 2013 had no energy or excitement, 2014 near the end of the residency had great concerts. Very interesting years

Those last few shows in 2014 were great. Axl seemed to be trying to make a point busting out some killer vocals, bringing back yesterday's, twat, prostitute. It felt a little bit exciting again.
