Sounds like two different singers if you compare it to an Axl/DC version.

Hell, even his guest appearances with Billy Joel in 2017 are miles ahead of this.

He sounds fine, just sings it differently now.

Probably not, but with Axl it's impossible to say for sure..

I think he gave it his all in 2016 and is suffering the consequences. On top of which his long serving vocal coach, who coached him for ACDC, has passed away. And of course the sands of time only move one way...

However his energy and showmanship at that Carrie Underwood concert was fantastic and for that reason I'd still go see Guns again.

Considering it's been reported by a number of outlets, it would seem so..

I mean this is something that would take no more than a day to arrange, costs little to nothing, and shows that Axl is out there preparing for shows. If it helps sell 1000 more tickets it's worth it.

No, but if they were to properly release a video for Better they should record it as they play it now, it sounds much better.

I did say new material should take priority.

I love CD but I think a lot of the stuff could do with rerecording with the current lineup first. Cleaner production and more accurate to what they're playing live.

I was at Slane and yeah the energy and the crowd that night was fantastic. Irish crowds rock  And yeah it's a very scenic venue lol

(not sure what song played prior to HS but) maybe a few easier vocals prior might help initially as well. 

Sadly no amount of practice can turn back time. Axl's getting old. There's going to be good days and bad days no matter what he does. At least he's found a more effortless way of singing without blowing out his voice.
