Do they go absolutely every where together?
Impossible to tell. No-one has seen him for about a year. They could have spent every day of that together or this could be the first time they met up that year. Who knows? Not us!

just about to post this as well. does anyone know where this is
I tried a google image search but all it came up with was a helpful explanation of waste container also known as a dustbin.

This is the most difficult vote for me in the whole game so far. Both songs are pretty close to perfect. How do you choose between two perfect songs?
Dolphins or Arnie?
It's the final hurdle.

You could not be mine today. Estranged for the win.

I think it would be okay for either of YCBM or CW to be the runner up. Everything from round 5 up represents GNR at their best.

You folks are being too politically aware. CW should have gone before Locomotive.
Nothing to do with politics. CW is a banging tune. It's also the song where Axl's love of sampling works best. Some of them are a bit cringe but on CW it does actually add something.

YCBM. I like the other two more. Great song though and deserving of top 3.

It seemed kinda obvious that these would be the final 4 songs. Time for Civil War to go, then YCBM can go next round, leaving the 'Axl epic' vs the 'Slash epic' in the finals.
The final is looking likely to be Estranged vs YCBM.
Estranged will win.
As it should.
-
This was painful. Between YCBM and Locomotive. Reluctantly chose Locomotive despite having one of the best GNR outros. I think overall YCBM is more consistently better through the whole song.

PTU, love it but it's not in the same league as the other four.
-
I love PTU, it's my favourite out of the novelty leaning songs in the GNR catalogue. Great melody and doesn't take itself too seriously. The other four all qualify as epic tracks so that's why it will be my next choice, reluctantly.

This was more sophisticated than the rickroll one so well played.
However the other one got locked so only fair to lock this now too.

Been voting for 14 years since round 3
I think today might be your day!
Went for 14 Years this round. Solid song but something has to go.

I don't think I want to vote anymore after this round.
I will but I don't want to.

Arrgh this is difficult now. It's between Yesterdays and Breakdown for me. Went with Yesterdays on the basis I listen to it slightly less I think. Not a good reason but it's a reason.

They've done very bad things, you know, such as extreme racism, sexual abuse and rape. But oh no Chris Rock got bitchslapped, that's the last fucking straw! Hahaha.
Btw yes Will is a hypocrite with all his peace and love lifestyle bullshit but I'd go as far as to say fuck you if you're dumb enough to buy into all that in the first place.
It's not that anyone thinks either Hollywood or Will Smith are great in the first place. I don't think anyone here does. It's that someone can commit a violent assault against the host, in a room full of people, televised to millions and there be no consequences to doing so. No security leaping in, nobody removing him from the building. Just passively doing nothing. There's something a bit Lynchian about it which is why I think it feels shocking.

Industry insiders told The Washington Post that the academy is considering revoking his Oscar now.
In related news, Diddy claims that Smith and Rock made peace after the show.
They wouldn't need to if they'd removed him and not given it in the first place.
Will be interesting to see if they actually follow through. It really shouldn't need much consideration.
If there's no consequences who the fuck is going to want to host in the future?

I've mostly stopped watching movies awhile ago. Checked out The Batman yesterday but I really don't plan on wasting any more of my time on the medium and those who make them.
Last night was confirmation that the entire film industry is a waste of time.
The biggest problem wasn't Smith's assault on Rock, which was bad enough all things considered.
The biggest problem was the standing ovation Smith received fifteen minutes later.
How Smith was still in the building is beyond me.
But there they all were, Mel Gibson included, applauding someone who just openly assaulted someone for a rather lame joke just fifteen minutes earlier.
If there was a moment that crystallized how pathetic the industry has become, that was it.
Exactly.
Maybe this is a UK centric view but how is Rock not protected under some sort of workplace Health and Safety? He was assaulted whilst doing his job. Surely at the very least the Academy is duty bound to immediately remove the threat?

I feel like you and I have been fairly similar in our votes!
This may be the hardest one yet; to have so many good songs that I genuinely love. Had to go wit Don't Cry (Alt.) this round for the same reason. I might have to go for "Yesterdays" next, which seems...wrong.
I know right? I'm thinking about KOHD next, trying to justify it on the basis that it's a cover and not original music, except I do really like it a lot so it feels wrong.
They're all going to feel wrong no matter what from here on in.
Edit: Having just said that I've now looked at the poll and I think the KOHD decision has been made for me.

I thought Will smacked him because they were planning on discussing that on table talk? Like when Jada admitted to borderline statutory rape...
I'm clearly missing some background here. I don't follow either of them at all. What's table talk?

It was a cruel joke considering her medical condition (not clear if Rock knew this) but looking at Smith's behaviour when millions of eyes are on him I reckon she has bigger problems than this joke.
All Smith has achieved is amplifying this joke, his wife's condition and her upset a million fold. What would have been an uncomfortable moment that would have passed by the eyes of the world and could have been addressed in other ways - a complaint to the organisers, a reference to her strength in the face of adversity in his acceptance speech, a follow up media interview calling Rock out etc.
It's all ended up being about Smith and what made him feel better in the moment. In part I think due to guilt because he was laughing and didn't immediately clock that his wife felt insulted.
If children behave like this in school they get excluded. Smith was comforted, allowed to remain at the ceremony and got an award. What sort of message does this send?

Getting harder now. Went for Don't Cry Alt. I like the alternate version but at the end of the day it is a duplicate so can't rank it higher than the remaining tracks.

Finally So Fine went. Should have been at least 2nd to go but oh well.
Now has to be Get In the Ring. The ranting was amusing for about 10 minutes in the 90s but aged badly.
