If the zoo director feels it was right to put the giraffe down to save the gene pool for the European breeding program, what does our opinion matter? The director knows much more than we do, and I'm sure he made the decision he felt was right. You said in a previous post send them back to Africa-Captivity is much different. If you were to release an animal born and raised in captivity into the wild, especially the Savannah where Giraffes are from, it would be dead before sundown. So how are lions eating it in captivity different from lions eating it in the wild?

You know what really grinds my gears about this picture? They're using a picture of Theatre of Pain era Mötley Crüe when Wildside was released on Girls Girls Girls. They changed their look between TOP and GGG.

As a 12 year old I thought the rants were mighty cool. Then I grew up and realized they were rather pathetic and lame.,

That's kind of how I feel. Most of the rants now make me feel sorry for the guy. To be in the situation he was......but yet to still be filled with so much anger and negativity that you had to explode for the world to see.......seems kind of sad.

Through some you can hear the band tuning up as if they want to get on with the show, & the audience are noisy enough for him to tell them to shut up which shows they weren't really interested in the rants about what the media had to say about him anyway.

Guess he's not so full of anger now that he needs to rant, he's told some funny stories over the last few years. Remember Montezuma's revenge?

I remember in 08 i was so happy because Chinese was the first Guns record I ever bought myself, and I was so happy with the album, and so happy to finally getting it after waiting and waiting. I want to be able to go to a record store and buy a brand new GN'R album on CD and Vinyl LP again. I miss that. I really hope something will come this year. Come on, Axl, I have faith in you. There's not really much else to add other than that.

These are pretty much the only 80's power ballads I can listen to.

Patience isnt a power ballad. Power ballads have big dramatic choruses like Don't Cry.

Who are you the power ballad police? For one this thread said "80's rock ballads" Don't cry was released in 91'. And patience is every bit a "ballad". How is Patience any different than "Next to be with you" by Mr. Big or "More than words" by Extreme?

It would actually be a fun rock show imo. If tickets are fairly cheap this summer I would take the wife to see it. Honestly Kiss are my least favorite of the 3. I know people like to rag on Poison, but they are a guilty pleasure for me. I prefer their discography over Bon Jovi's and many other 80's bands. Of the 3, Leppard is my over all favorite, but everything after 1987 for them is border line crap imo. But High n dry and Pyromania are pretty damn good albums. I don't hate Hysteria, but it's just sooo commercialized imo. Adranilize is piece of crap, dog shit really. But still I prefer both Leppard and Poison to Kiss.

Anything is better than Bon Phony. I enjoy a few (2) Leopard tracks-Rock of Ages and Pour Some Sugar On Me. Poison and KISS are my favorites in the bill, I'm really looking forward to hearing Every Rose Has Its Thorn live again. And the rest of Poison's set.
