  1. How can you say that Duff was a member of new guns n roses?

    He was a founding member.

    of new guns n roses?

Not the way I see things.

Remember how Axl talked about "alumni" on stage with him? Or are you just smartass/trolling your way around here.

I'm sorry that you don't know your Guns N' Roses history very well, but Duff was in the band with Robin as Axl's employee after Slash left the band. Same with Matt. Duff is a founding member of New Guns N' Roses whether you choose to accept it or not.
Duff McKagan was in this incarnation's original lineup, he's the one that suggested Robin as a replacement for Slash if I remember correctly. I'm sorry you don't like the idea that Duff was in new GNR.
    Misquote?
IIRC, Duff had suggested Robin as a foil for Slash, but Axl said something along the lines of "no, he would be a great REPLACEMENT for Slash"

  3. Axl has no desire to speak to the ""fans" who come to MyGNR and call him shit all the time. I'm sure he wouldn't mind talking to us on Nightrain

HTGTH has existed for years. He has never posted there. Ever.

He probably doesn't even know that the asskissers official forum exists.

I highly doubt that Axl Rose doesn't know about the official forum of his own band's fan club
  4. Makin' love

    Cheap heartbreaker, broken backed,

Nasty ballbreaker, stay out of my bed, outta my head

    If it's lovin' you,

    I'm better off dead

    :rofl-lol: :rofl-lol:

    :rofl-lol: yes please

It's a lot cheaper than hiring a decent tribute band.

unfortunately, Nu Gn'R only play wedding concerts for billionaires

:jerkoff: Guns N' Roses isn't a tribute band. Stop trolling

At this point they pretty much are mate....................They play the old bands music and other bands covers so how can you deny it...........until they release their own original music how can you see them as anything else............. :shrugs:
Axl Rose isn't done yet. There will be more music, Dj himself has said Axl has tons of ideas. Dj has several demos. The only one who says differently is Ron Thal, and he has meltdowns all the time.

  6. no one comes close to axl. he invented the snake dance and raspy vocals. everyone that tries to give him a hard time are just jealous that they were not there to do what he did first. axl is the figure for originality and awesome work ethic. stop hatin' :fuckyou:

This is a joke account, right?

The snake dance and raspy vocals were around long before Axl Rose.

And only losers are jealous of other people.

    ***********

Axl is my favorite rock front man of all time.

But is he the best of all time? I think he sure could have been, and that's not something you can say about many people.

A couple more albums with the old band, and then a couple more albums since then - and I think Axl would/could have easily made this a different conversation.

His off the mic behavior and small body of work prevent him from being the "best" of all time. But he certainly belongs in the conversation and a top 10 ranking.

And the "nobody commands a stage like Axl" stuff.....you do realize that's ONLY because he is your favorite singer, right? Seeing your all time favorite musician live gives you a different and more special feeling than seeing others in concert. Kind of like watching your child play sports or compete in a spelling bee or act in a play. Your 10-year-old's performance is going to move you to tears while the random 10-year-old kid beside him is gonna "suck" in comparison.

People on here often aren't able to separate their own personal favorite over what is actually the truth.

How does off the mic behavior dictatate if he is the best or not
  7. I saw Slash play Simple Man

    that would be kinda cool.
It was. The entire Florida Theatre had lighters out and in the air and were singing along, it was pretty fuckin' cool. Slash's "Sailing" moment. And it was the only time he has played it.
That C, G, A progression in A minor was made for Slash. Would have loved to hear that.
I was on the other side of the room (Slash's side of the stage), 9 rows from the stage. It was a fun concert trip, I skipped school, drove down to Florida to see Slash.
