But will the fact that in recent weeks new tracks have been recorded/rerecorded with Bbf, and Frank hinder the release of Chinese Democracy. According to Del's article on the official site they ARE for CD and not a future album. I certainly hope this doesnt completely spoil a 2006 release. Thoughts?

Honestly, I seriously wouldnt mind OTGM or YCBM being replaced by songs from the new album.

Here's what I don't get - And it stems from the Rolling Stone article that was recently swept under the rug by management - It says that Axl played the full album for a bunch of people, and Bach was obviously very, very enthusiastic about it.

I don't think he'd play the entire record, in front of a bunch of friends, unless the damn thing was truly finished. With this in mind, I can't imagine what the hold up could be.

My money's on Madison Square Garden - I don't think Axl's forgotten the significance of the show there in 2002, widely considered to be the most impressive show of '02. I think it's highly unlikely that he'll announce something on the stage, but stranger things have happened.

Things are starting to look grim. The mood is exactly the same as it was in November 2002. We're waiting for something...but we have no idea of what's coming. Not even a single. Even tho I bought into it for a while Im so tired of listening to this conspiracy theory bullshit about how "We'll just see it one tuesday...Axl doesnt need promotion!"....WRONG!!! The biggest names in the business Madona, Aerosmith, Jay Z, Coldplay....all promote the shit out of new albums. Axl is not exempt from this. I think, deep down, we all know this. Again, it's looking grim. Here's hoping things turn around soon.

I kinda agree. Its a good song up to the 5 minutes MLK quotes. Pretty Boring. I will be curious to hear the studio version nonetheless.
