I always felt that sorry was a momentum killer at the shows

The big surprise is they're going to have a guitar instructor teach DJ how to play guitar onstage

How about an extended intro to the intro of the extended intro of RQ?
-
Even if they played oh my god, i don't think it'd fly to well. It's not like he'll bust out 100% rasp and nail the song. It'll be more like how he sings PC now, completely clean except for the "Are you blind" part

When a song is overproduced, does that mean there's so much instruments put in that they are individually indistinguishable or something else?
-
The main reason that Izzy did the shows in 1993 because he was not payed money that he was owed.
-
Slash's home address in 1992 was 8569 Walnut Dr, Los Angeles, CA
-
I always thought Jungle sucked from 91-93. It started sounding very sloppy from all members. The only one i particularly liked from the old band was the 88 vma one.
-
I particularly like 3:10 and onwards. Very cool outro.

Hell, maybe they even rehearsed Crash Diet and Bring It Back Home
-
Maybe Tommy's trying to be like duff was back in the day by getting blackout drunk
-
The KOHD clip on the band's Instagram sounds good from what I can tell
-
DJ is only bad because Axls always messing him up by telling him jokes in his monitor. The entiiiire gig
-
Obviously Slash won't be in the audience but the fact that he can't go see the band that he helped make famous is kind of goofy. Maybe one day he can go in with a disguise and sit in the cheap seats and watch Ashba butcher his classic riffs.
Or maybe he'll fangirl over him and say he's better than the old one

Title says current GNR concert. People speak of 2001/2006.
Well i worded that wrong. oops I meant that as in nuGNR, i just didnt want to say "nuGNR". Ill change it
Edit: just kidding i dont know how to
-
Yeah it's doubtful they have any bad blood. Treat- it'd be kinda cool...another glimpse of old Guns....(back when they were so damn good)Matt spoke to Axl in 2006 so I don't imagine there's any bad blood between them anymore. Plus its not like it would be a treat to have Matt play live with GNR today.
Actually, I think having Matt as a guest would be cool. That way someone can finally play the drum intro of YCBM correctly.
-
Like have you ever had a particular moment in a concert where you said to yourself "This is how GNR should be" or a "Holy shit that looked cool". Any band member in particular.
For me it was Rock am Ring 2006 where he comes in perfectly timed with that long scream in jungle and his voice throughout sounded like Axl, but how he should sound at 45 years old: like a mature Axl.
Another moment for me was in the recent La Paz gig.
starting at 0:53 onwards
Duff just exuded rockstar with his shades & jacket wearing all black with his stage presence, BBF & 4tus were just jamming enthusiastically, and Axl just comes out dancing nonchalantly with the mic stand and belts out the opening line. Then it all goes to shit until after the solo.
What about you guys?
GNR from 01-present is what I meant as in current.

Slash better wear a "Slash is GN'R" shirt
-
Maybe DJ will finally learn how to play guitar

I've never heard a live version of Better where the intro didn't sound like shit. That's a shame...I hate how the beggining of 'better' always sounds. From the second dj starts through the complete intro it just sounds like shit. Really, it never gets much better after that now that I think about it...
The live guitar intro is always harsh on the ears a bit for me. The thing that ruins it for me is axl. In 06 he sang it with aa different voice (head voice maybe?). Now he sings it with his airy, breath-heavy falsetto thing

When they played Estranged last night, Axl sang "So nobody told bumblebaby how it was gonna be... 'So what'll happen to him?' maybe well just kick him out and see"
