Or maybe they just want to play for the sake of it
-
This is actually the alternative lyrics version that's going to be featured on the remix album

I always thought Better was about a relationship that was hell.
-
I think it did how it did because
a.) It's an entirely different band playing the songs
b.) Axl isn't on his A-game here
c.)I'm always under the impression that casuals have contempt for anything NuGNR related so they blow this off

I actually liked the industrial influence on CD. I just would like there to be a way to have the guitars be loud and rocking.
Like on the IRS album version, in the part "wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong..." The guitars aren't very loud because there's more than 2 and they needed to bring down the volume but it made it sounded less rocking IMO. On the demo, they are louder because there are only two (or less than the album) on either channel which makes it more rocking

The rest of the album would've leaked. Maybe even other nuGuns stuff too

Its one thing to hit the note, its another to sustain it for the length it is on the album.
Its the same note as TWAT's high note right?

Thank you!

Does anyone have any idea what the date is?

I would be interested but the public wouldn't. (Unless they're hard rock remixes of the songs which i doubt). I'd be more interested in new music.
The holy grail for me is if they'd give all the original 35mm negatives that have the music videos on them to someone (i.e. Disney or Sony who are both masters of remastering films) and remaster them (correctly) and release them on Blu-ray with the MFSL versions of the albums (or a new audiophile remaster)

Wow. Keep the interlacing please. My video player doubles the framerate when it deinterlaces it and its buttery smooth and it looks real good

The 2006 braids were tied so hard that they gave Axl a raspy voice

Initially I thought I was watching a TV ad for a used pickup

One thing I'd like them to change is the drums. The whole kit doesn't sound very RnR. It sounds electronic a bit in a way (the kick, the hard panning of cymbals). Needs a little more ambience and a different kick drum (or a lack of triggers if thats what it is)
-
Axl also sings it in a different voice. Like a growl on some parts and that would probably hurt for him. On Garden of Eden he's pretty much using a clean voice except for the chorus part.

37. Where's Slash?
Answer: He's in Axl's ass

We have this thread like every two weeks.
Nothing important to discuss here so figured why not

5 times live is correct. There is also this instrumental version from the Full Mates Rehearsal 1989
I've never heard that before. Thanks for posting! You can really tell how little Axl had to do with their Appetite sound by listening to that. Those songs are damn near finished apart from Locomotive which is missing Axl's outro. It's clear that Axl was, for the most part, responsible for the epic ballads where as the rest of them were responsible for everything else.
Well Axl was only the singer, so besides arrangement, theres little he could have done regarding instrumentation.

What's your favorite lyric from GNR? Include why if you please. You can't say ex: last 2 min of Coma. It has to be a line.
I'll start.
"With all the voices I heard, something has died"

This song has always be 'meh' to me live. Scream is good but I wish he'd use his chest voice for at least the verses. Some of the notes are lower than the 2nd part of patience so he could do it
