Pretty much any, but the studio version, at around 0:08 you can hear the ending of the effects sound. It begins with something that sounds like music that you hear in Chinese restaurants and then the sounds you hear at 0:08. A kind of beeping noise

Then you're talking about the Chinese Democracy multitracks from Rock Band.

You cand downlad the multitracks from Better on that link. The effects you're talking about will surely be on "Additional instruments"

    Hey Guys,

It's been a long time since i saw a Civil War video, but this version seems to be way slower than 2017/2016 and it appears to help Axl's voice.

This video seems to have slowed down the actual performance (which is why it's also on a lower tuning).

They didn't slow it down (unfortunately)

I was struck by some riffs that sounded very amateurish (it made me suspicious) but otherwise I love this version so 2001. I love that "ahh ahh ahh" in the end, I love Pitman's synths replacing the violins

Maybe it's Axl playing those guitar licks? We know he played some parts on the album version, maybe he also did on the demo

Edit: I just found out you were talking about The Blues. I was referring to TWAT, so sorry!

It's good - sounds like it was entirely recorded and mastered for Appetite but left off

I'm more interested in hearing the mystery second song that the unboxing video says will be on there from the Mike Clink sessions

Don't Cry? Something we've never heard before?

    From Rolling Stone:

"The unreleased audio features a wide array of material. There are the two songs Guns N' Roses cut with Clink, "Shadow of Your Love" – recorded during a trial session that earned Clink the production job – and an acoustic version of "Move to the City,” which was recorded during the GN’R Lies sessions. The set also boasts two early versions of "November Rain," two unfinished songs, "The Plague" and "New Work Tune," as well as several covers: Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel," Aerosmith's "Mama Kin" and acoustic and electric versions of the Rolling Stones' "Jumpin' Jack Flash.""

Not even remotely close? How thick can one be? Have you not heard how he does Thunderstruck? The guy did his best vocal performances of his career, his vocal technique and control of his rasp is miles fucking ahead of his UYI era voice, he has NEVER sounded better than on that. Shoot to Thrill Lisbon. Back In Black Marseilles. Don't even need to continue. Put off your rose tinted glasses.

I totally agree. Those performances are Axl at his best in terms of vocal technique
