Sure...but there's a lot of stuff out there that shows it has a big effect on artists...especially if it's a set for the ages... There will be a massive press wave, good, bad, ugly, whatever....I think some underestimate this....it'll get a lot of people googling "who are guns n roses" - believe it! A lot of people will remember them tomorrow, be there for them but also discover their music for the first time tomorrow... The UK is known as one of the if not thee best music country, look what's been produced here...it's a friggen big deal, I can't believe they're actually doing it, I'm really pumped. https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/billie-eilish-diana-ross-olivia-rodrigo-sam-fender-and-more-reap-glastonbury-rewards-as-they-see-huge-uplift__36757/ https://www.musicweek.com/media/read/pyramid-scheme-glastonbury-delivers-big-sales-boost-for-headliners/076716

2023 WORLD TOUR
colonizedmind replied to Stay.Of.Execution's topic in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
What from the list (or otherwise) would you like them to tackle on tour? Ok, I've made a list of all the tracks from the discography (either former live regulars or never before heard studio tracks) that the reunion hasn't played live yet (to best of my knowledge - correct me if I'm wrong please) I thought since the set list has been much more fluid this tour and like 4Tus and the band like to tell us "we make it up as we go along" š.... There hasn't been two shows exactly the same, with at least a "tour debut" each night...with it being the biggest show/most important tomorrow, I can't see that changing, so we could get some of the other soundchecked (maybe one of...) "Bad Apples", "Think About You", "Breakdown", "Dead Horse", "Perhaps" (or other new song to coincide with release after...) What else has been soundchecked and not played in recent years? (Not played live yet from discography...yes I know "My World" will never happen!) Move to the city Mama Kin Heartbreak Hotel Jumpin Jack Flash One in a Million Right next door to Hell Dust n Bones Perfect Crime You ain't the First Back off Bitch The Garden Garden of Eden Don't Damn Me Bad Apples 14 Years Get in the Ring Shotgun Blues Breakdown Don't cry (alt.) My World Since I don't have You Human Being Ain't it fun Buick Makane I don't care about You Black Leather Look at your game Girl OMG Shackler's Revenge If The World Scraped Riad IRS Unreleased songs (from CD sessions etc) -
What the smallest album we'd accept or could be? EP's are generally 28 minutes and less. So an album with 8-12 tracks. Slash usually has 10 on his solo. If we're including Absurd and HS and the other 4 or so that Slash said were done, then we're only 3 or 4 shy of a LP to tide us over until new new material! Fantasy land?

Just had 6music on in the radio....interesting discussion on Guns with Matt Everett and the host on how they typically wouldn't be accepted at Glasto, based on the rock "flaunting and posturing" but that's long since been blasted away I thought with the likes of Metallica headlining, Jay-Z and all sorts of other unusuals...it's definately expanded it's pallate in last few decades...discussion of Axl as a "figure of hate" but in contrast Slash "being worshipped as a guitar hero" was usual shit! They ended their discussion wondering whether they'd show up on time....I think it's safe to say, they were previewing them on old rep! So I guess many like them will be pleasantly surprised when they're punctual and that'll get them some props, in a weird way....
