You haven't seen any discussion because the Village leaks happened 4 years ago.

That river plate concert got to be one of the best ever. That crowd gives me goosebumps every time I watch it.
For me personally, it hurts every time because my first concert was just a few months later (Gn’R March 2010, vs ACDC’s December 2009). It’s definitely the band I want to see the most, just because I missed that show.
I consider it one of the best rock concerts in history. -
They haven't been to South America since the Black Ice tour. They did NA, Europe & Oceania for the Rock or Bust tour, so they owe us that!
Hopefully they come here soon. I need to see them, I was too young for their 2009 River Plate show

I’m pretty sure that both @Mindray11’s recording and @evader’s reconstruction of “The General” (Monsters) were hoarded for a few years (probably between 2011/12 and 2018 when they were shared).

Why not? People who bought it are confused, nobody really have any confirmation of shipping. Fans are confused, not really neurotic.
It may be obvious for you, but it's not for me and seems like I'm not alone on this.
But everyone that bought it knew that it started shipping on the 27th, and today is 26th... it was clearly stated in the website.

There wasn't any proof "Perhaps" was coming either. They have not promoted ANY new single prior to dropping it on digital streamers. Yeah, we found the link for "Perhaps" on their link tree thing, and the countdown. That was all removed. Then the song still showed up. We know "The General" is shipping on vinyl. That's enough evidence it's gonna drop at some point on streaming sites.
The Linktree and countdown links were removed because the song was delayed one week, not because we found out.
You are wrong when you say there wasn’t any proof that those songs were being released digitally. Those two are.
The fact that The General is shipping as a B-side on a physical format doesn’t prove that it’s coming in digital too.
Can you tell me where can I legally stream the physical-only live versions of Absurd, Don’t Cry and You’re Crazy that were officially released less than two years ago?

What proof could there be? Songs just show up on streaming sites when they come out, these days. Hard Skool just appeared, all the sudden. It was out in New Zealand first. Absurd came out at 12am EST and also just appeared
All 3 singles had some type of proof in the previous days that led to an imminent digital release, whether it was a Linkfire link, a countdown, a Japanese store link. I’m sure there were more.
What do we have for The General? Some vague comment by Fernando on Reddit and the Spotify search theory?
-
I think you guys are setting up for disappointment with the digital version. There’s no proof whatsoever that it’s coming to streaming platforms. Nada.

As everything, only if properly advertised.
Perhaps would have been a shitty release like HS and Absurd if it wasn't because of the learnt mistakes.

Yeah, it was soundchecked, not on alt setlist.
That's just what one dude who worked at catering for the Abu Dhabi show said. There's no proof.
There were more people that day listening to soundcheck and none of those people said they heard Bad Apples.

Can we expect maybe Bad Apples being performed on this tour leg? It was on alt setlist.
Maybe tonight? Axl was sick last time they played in Chicago in 2021, perhaps Chicago will got something special tonight.
Bad Apples was never in the alt. setlist.

Loved his Prostitute and TWAT solos in Paris:
This is exactly what I wanted from Slash on these songs, and I loved Finck and Bucket's takes on the SCOM and Nightrain solos respectively.
That’s great, thanks for the suggestions. I’m all for Slash doing the CD solos justice.
I’ll listen to them later since there is an IEM recording of this show
-
The cringe part is that he posted a video in which the player actually plays the original solo while adding his own take to it.
I still have to find a Slash video in which he plays a Chinese Democracy solo and I'm still able to recognize parts of the original one.
But hey! That's alright because "Slash came back to HIS baby. He has every right to play the solos like he wants to."

I know what you're getting at here but really, AFD and garbage do not belong in the same sentence.
Obviously not! But whatever that may come out for trying to recreate it, is.
Thankfully Gn’R is much more than AFD. But some people never understood that :/

Facebook boomers who want to reminisce their youth are expecting more AFD-like garbage (apparently they don't know that Slash has been doing exactly that for 3 consecutive albums). So you can rule out Facebook on any positive reviews.
YouTube, Reddit and Twitter (of all places) are more positive than negative.
The Rolling Stone review has been the one I liked the most.

That drumfill before the last chorus is definitely new.
Also are the deep voices in the chorus probably newly recorded?
The deep voice in the chorus was already in the demo, but just barely hearable.

Because it's not midnight in France yet... The song is officialy released on Friday 18th.
How is it that people don't know what timezones are?

I was never a fan of this song, even back when it leaked in 2019.
With that said, I think it's the best "re-recording" out of the 3 released singles. From a technical POV, anyway. The additions are all good, they make the song sound more "alive" and less like a demo. I liked Slash's solo but, as I expected, I like Robin's solo more. I also think it's bizarre that they kept his for like one second. The mix is good, I can actually understand the chorus now.
Absurd remains as my personal favorite. That song is a banger both studio and live.
Absurd > Perhaps > Hard Skool

There is a Perhaps “track” link as well.
https://open.spotify.com/track/1xl3tncP1hSU9EPkIY535i?si=1NpWh8gcRHqldP1n1saKvg
From a PC, if you click it, it will just redirect you to the “album” link.
I don’t think it means anything.
