I believe the new information was “ single out any day now” I don’t think anyone has said that or else I missed it. We have all thought something was coming soon and duff said news would come “soon”. But to my knowledge nobody said a single was coming in a few days
I agree with the rest of what you said that the rest is older information. I think the refreshing part is he isn’t being cryptic or vague.
Plus it's someone really close to the man himself (and not part of TB).

From the third clip:
Tom Mayhue: "It's a lot more kind of Appetite orientated. They had a lot of songs - when the band went in originally and recorded Appetite for Destruction, I think they recorded, like, 29 songs. So there's a bunch of... a lot of music that was left over that didn't make the first record. I think there's only 11 songs on the first record".
I wonder what he's referring to here. New music? Something else? It's also an odd thing to say, since, as far as we know, what was left off Appetite was used on UYI.
Maybe they're redoing stuff like Just another Sunday after all.

So that's like the closest to Axl himself we got so far regarding updates on new stuff right?

Tom Mayhue: "And I know the band's gonna start working on new music - they've got a bunch of stuff recorded already - there will be new Guns N' Roses music very soon. In fact, I think they're trying to get a single out, like any day now. So you may hear something very, very soon."
Dumb question, I know, but who is he?

Bands insta showed some cool clips of Estranged and Down on the farm already.

Just caved in and got the super deluxe CD edition for 199 Euros, although I'm usually a vinyl collector. So so looking forward to the Blu-ray and being able to rip the live tracks on my mp3 player for running (yes, I'm that old-school), so I can ignore not having this box on vinyl.

You know what would be nice
the general
perhaps
+ 3 filler songs
5 song EP. Every band does some filler. Wish they’d do that and release at least 5 song EP’s without any live bullshit. New music.
One man's filler is another man's bible.

2006 was pretty great actually because we got a bunch of leaks (irs, better, twat and catcher I believe) and the first tour since the aborted 2002 tour. So it was pretty exciting for sure
Exactly this. The hype around RIR 2006 six was huge, I remember staying up all night watching it somehow via some stream.

The review though harsh seems accurate.
Any non fan who listens tiene those videos would say sort of the same.
Thats the truth even though we try to defend Axl no matter what
But that was always the case with Axl, the casual music listener either tolerates or hates Axls voice (and the persona they perceive him to be) whereas the fan and the music experts praised his voice and vocal strength, back in the day and in some regard even today.

I'd take anything to be honest. Even a live album, fuck yeah. Release a Blu-ray with it and I'm more than in.

They did. He said his hotel is in Düsseldorf so he doesn't know where the fuck he is
If I find the time tomorrow, I'll sneak around the steak house in my street he was at the last time he was in Düsseldorf with ACDC.

Lol out of all places why does he choose Leverkusen?
Right? That's like the most random thing ever to happen in GNR world. What the hell?
38 minutes ago, Sonicjam said:That footage is awesome. Surely the most produced and highest quality they have put out so far? Looks like a great concert for a live blu ray.
It absolutely is.

I’m reading somewhere else that Axl mentioned Buckethead at this show? Does anyone have context for that?
EDIT: Nevermind I found it:
What a cool thing to do. Love Axl.

Yesterday Beta reposted a reel from waxworkrecords on insta. They say something bloody is coming this Friday. Maybe it's something, maybe not.
Multiple coloured vinyl reissues of Appetite incoming?

I don't know what I'm gonna do if the big announcement is just going to be about that fucking clothing line.

If Kaneda was still around, he’d say something like this:
“Guys. Look. Announcement is for more merchandise. Get a life. Go outside.”
Even tho this is the umpteenth time they’ve done this to us, I still find it quite amusing.
What happenend to him anyway?

I really don't know what he means but I absolutely can't picture anyone on earth confusing AFD with CD, especially not somebody like him.
