Yeah, very well done.

I can't fucking wait. Even the missus is showing some mild signs of interest. Been playing GNR all day already.

Guns starts at 2200 on BBC2
So it'll just keep on going although it says 18-22 right now? Okay, then I am happily waiting. Thanks!

I'm watching it on BBC 2 now, it says the broadcast ends at 22, which means it'll only show 30 minutes of Guns? Where do I watch the full show? I'm using a friend's tvmucho account.

I can't find the link now, so take it for what it is, but someone on Facebook said the band is working on a live album release with the new songs added on it, as well as the Dodger Stadium bluray. Some people claim the guy has gotten inside info before, but I'll believe it when I see it. It doesn't make sense to throw these songs on a live album like Kiss did in '77.
Sounds interesting but too far out.

I so hope they knock one out of the park tomorrow. Show the world you're still the greatest frontman alive Axl!

I'm getting mildly excited.

Just the fact we have a pic with axl and slash together outside the stage gets me hyped. Lets go!
I wouldn't have thought that they spend time together outside a concert ground (and even go for a hug). This sounds really promising, I wonder what new mixes they listened to and what "it" is that sounds awesome.

Awesome shirt, love the details, 90s Axl, Bigfoot, the people fucking by the orange tent. Really cool.

Who said this band was dead in the water. They found new legs.
Axl is sounding so strong and they're playing really tight, just going by the stream.

Absolutely this.
It's baffling how Slash has lost his midas touch. Goes to show, experience doesn't always make you a better player. The Slash of today and the Slash of the 90s/early 00s are like two completely different people. He was twice the player in his 20s, 30s and 40s than he has been the last decade or so. I guess its hard for any musician to stay inspired and always be "in-the-zone", but he really does sound like he's lost sight of what made him so unique in the first place.
Yeah, he was an absolute master of smooth melodies, just think of the killer guitar melodies, as Axl put it, that make Estranged the song it is. I could listen to the different guitar parts put together for the rest of my days and never get tired of it.

Only two VR songs that did anything for me were You've Got No Right and This Fight.
Top notch melodies in both songs.
The rest didn't do much for me.
The last few days I was wondering what that one VR song I really really really liked back then was called and I couldn't name it (and I always forgot to check the vinyl when I was home) but man, yeah, You've got no right is such a killer song, thanks for helping refreshing the memory.
I really liked both Contraband and Libertad back then, maybe I should give those records another spin these days.

When they released Absurd as the first of the two singles back then I was on vacation in northern Germany.
Guess where I am for this remaining week again, guys and girls?
Fuck yeah, it's happening!

Anyone remember Mexico City 2016 where they played songs like There Was A Time and Used To Love Her, and then completely didn't bring them out at all during the summer tour? Are we looking at a situation like that again?
Or on a similar note, how will they top tonight?
