I can't find the link now, so take it for what it is, but someone on Facebook said the band is working on a live album release with the new songs added on it, as well as the Dodger Stadium bluray. Some people claim the guy has gotten inside info before, but I'll believe it when I see it. It doesn't make sense to throw these songs on a live album like Kiss did in '77.

Sounds interesting but too far out.

    Absolutely this.

It's baffling how Slash has lost his midas touch. Goes to show, experience doesn't always make you a better player. The Slash of today and the Slash of the 90s/early 00s are like two completely different people. He was twice the player in his 20s, 30s and 40s than he has been the last decade or so. I guess its hard for any musician to stay inspired and always be "in-the-zone", but he really does sound like he's lost sight of what made him so unique in the first place.

Yeah, he was an absolute master of smooth melodies, just think of the killer guitar melodies, as Axl put it, that make Estranged the song it is. I could listen to the different guitar parts put together for the rest of my days and never get tired of it.

Only two VR songs that did anything for me were You've Got No Right and This Fight.

Top notch melodies in both songs.

The rest didn't do much for me.

The last few days I was wondering what that one VR song I really really really liked back then was called and I couldn't name it (and I always forgot to check the vinyl when I was home) but man, yeah, You've got no right is such a killer song, thanks for helping refreshing the memory.

I really liked both Contraband and Libertad back then, maybe I should give those records another spin these days.

Anyone remember Mexico City 2016 where they played songs like There Was A Time and Used To Love Her, and then completely didn't bring them out at all during the summer tour? Are we looking at a situation like that again?

Or on a similar note, how will they top tonight?
