  1. Were the past tours also promoted like this, with a build up until the tickets are on sale and some sort of marketing like the Nascar thing? Because if not, maybe, just maybe there's really something bigger behind all this than just another tour.

But this is GNR so there's most likely no logic behind it.

I don't know if someone else recall which year was that New GNR made show in Russia, this was when Axl fall of the table 😆 not sure if was the same year it private party?

I think Axl fell of a table in a strip club in Paris in 2012? At least that's what I somehow remember he said during one of the following concerts where I was at, but I can be mixing up things, I am not so sure.

We wouldn't have more albums without TB since Axl decides when and where something happens. But we would have better communication, better merch and other cool stuff

    True.

For example look at all the shit other bands release for something like Record store Day. Cool packages of classic or long lost albums, concerts, demos and stuff like that. Can't wait for the long lost Pearl Jam Promo concert album they release this year for example.

What is GNR doing? Some kind of CD (of all possible media) with still to be declared live stuff exclusively as a way to get people pay for the fanclub and actively changing what people have to pay in order to get it (possibly) for hours.

    Wow, just wow.

  4. So it seems he finally retires from touring for good. See the official statement posted on his social media.

That means I was at his final show ever in Germany in 2018, which was kick ass good. Not gonna lie, I'm gonna miss him, I even had tickets for another show the following year.

  5. This year is looking rather bleak so far, compared to the amazing summer / fall that was 2022 with 2x Pearl Jam, 2x Die Toten Hosen and a spectacular The Cure concert as the absolute highlights among smaller concerts.

This year I've got the Haldern Pop Festival so far, with Glen Hansard already confirmed as a headliner, who's always performing like there's no tomorrow and another concert I'm looking for is a cool newish band I discovered called Enumclaw, you guys should check them out. I think that's it so far.
