Man, right now I'm so pissed that I can't make it to the Frankfurt gig.

Wait, didn’t you guys say a few posts ago that they started with ISE? I don’t have Instagram so I can’t see the link that was posted.
No, it was just a black n white video Axl walking through the arena hallways with his Bodyguard with ISE as the background music.

Music gets released on Fridays now.
EDIT: didn’t see that someone already posted that above, my bad.
Well yeah, I guess that good old joke didn't do it this time around.

My World would be so funny. Let Slash play an epic ripper of a solo during or at the end and it would be so fucking amazing.

Perfect last post for this thread. Can someone close it then?

While Pele was annoying and was proved wrong a few times, I did start to worry when we heard Hard Skool and there were vocals cut and pasted from Eye on You in the middle right. If they've gone to that effort to source some "hey heys", there really must be very little left vocally.
Good point.

And the MacDaddy bits
As in "get rid of it"? Because then I'd agree.

I don't really consider stuff like Nothing and Eye On You actual songs, more like sketch ideas. But that's just my view.
To me, the chorus (or whatever one might call it) of Eye in you is still the only really really catchy, mean sounding vocal line in the leaks I've heard so far. I really wish they'd build a song around that and get rid of that repetitive monotone Hey ey Hey ey (which they used in Hard skool anyway).

For a guy who wanted to bury appetite hes made a career playing it live for 20 years. It's sad.

So this is the beginning of the end of gnr?
Obviously and has been that way after the first one or two reunion years. Maybe, maybe there'll be one final chapter with a "new" record but as it doesn't seem that way, it seems we're on the lap of honor.

RHCP - Wet Sand should be there.
Fuck yes, listened to it just today while running and maaaaan, what a solo! What a perfect build up to the solo and then the solo itself... Perfection.

There is a very big silence and lack of promotion around this tour though. Nothing seems to be being done by anyone to drum up excitement and interest.
True, it's totally baffling.

I really really like these songs and I'll give Tenderness another spin tonight. Great record.

You're probably right. It definitely feels like Slash and Duff have some sort of connection going on, but it doesn't feel like there's much beyond that.
Absolutely, yes.

I wonder if he's even very aware of it?
I increasingly get the impression he's, say we say, 'sheltered' from certain things.
I increasingly get the impression that they all don't really care at all. They're all individuals who share a common past and happen to be in a kind of financial endeavour again, but apart from sharing a stage a few nights each year, rubbing shoulders and acting like it's the most rock n roll, punk as fuck thing to do, they go seperate ways, so I'd be surprised they keep each other in the loop with everything they do, exceptions would be things like Duff recording and playing with Iggy, so he invites Slash over for some good punk vibes.

Now that you count them of like this, it feels really weird, but in a good way.
