It's better than anything on Chinese Democracy, except maybe for Better.
Paul Hugie saved GNR after all.

Iommi easily, Iommi don't need no wanking solos.

IF they include one NEW song like Atlas or anything really I'd be willing, so sad.. Look, they are late for their own anniversary, nothing makes sense, so that is my semi realistic dream, though it ain't happening.

The thing I admire about the man is how he just doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks. He does what he wants, good, bad or ugly. If you don't like it, you can fuck off. That is a rare trait in the entertainment business.
Especially his fans he gives zero fucks about, lowest amount of effort equals highest payoff as in money, he sure has come a long way being a homefuck from Indiana he sings about, to being an old savvy, wise businessman.
I will fuck off now.

Dinosaur that refuses to die, shit or get off the pot. Oh well, rock and thunder incoming.

It would NEVER live up to that, Axl would find a way..

U2
Led Zeppelin
Metallica
Radiohead
Pearl Jam
Bon Jovi
The Smiths
Should be enough for now..

Izzy was just the perfect middle ground for GNR, he was perfect in that role, I don't see Izzy ever coming back and having much hand in the songwriting process, but having an Izzy song on a future GNR release would definitely help.
Izzy is essential for any rock and roll band, very mediocre/generic on his own.

Not just any T-shirt, a GnFnR t-shirt from the most dangerous band in the worldTM

Since they can't be compared why does it bother you so much someone like one over the other..
How would Mercury be doing with his voice had he still been alive?
Axl sang like it was his last every time, he started holding back just before he'd damage his voice permanently and it's never been as powerful since then.
Mercury impressive? Sure, but I'd take someone like Axl every time over one with a god given talent and Axl was pretty talented in his own right.
There won't be someone like them ever again though.

Axl
Slash
Izzy
Buckethead
Duff
Steven

Though Mercury was the bigger talent, Axl in his prime will never be matched by anyone, he was the total package.
When Axl wasn't a total trainwreck that is, and to me 06,10,ACDC, show he still has and never really lost it.

It's just another excuse for King Axl to milk it a little further and stall the inevitable of being a real band that releases music, sad all he does is waste his greatest talent.. Business as usual in GNR land.
-
Short answer is yes.. Music is a voice or a language, you should always keep making music, screw the commercial appeal and legacy.
Especially for a band like GNR, fans will always come around to listen to your music. Will it sell as well or make an impact like past records? No, but that's the way the industry works now.

Never would have happened..
Anyway, would take CD material, Slash is done as is Axl, though I have a feeling there wouldn't be much material.
