Count me as horribly amused by the complete outrage in this thread. I think I giggled all the way through all 6 pages. Thank you all for brightening my day.

It is always a little strange to see others get completely worked up about something I am completely indifferent to.

Didn't Izzy say somewhere he didn't like barefeet? That he thought it was gross? Or unreasonably bothersome or something? I can't remember if it was going barefoot himself or bare feet in general. 

Autographs are keepsakes. I imagine some people want selfies and autographs  for same reason people buy silly shot glasses or post cards when they go on vacation. A reminder of something they enjoyed.  Something that triggers a "remember when" when they look at it years later.

This is a pretty tough one. 

Probably Axl. Now if the vocalist for the Duff/Izzy/Slash/Steven act leaked and it wasn't someone on my short list of 'I can't listen to this voice for 30 min staight much less more than an hour' or even more interestingly, no vocalist, I'd definitely choose them.

Thanks. I've been keeping cool water by him and damp paper towels under his feet when he is laying down during the worst of the heat (dogs also expend heat through their paws).

He has been doing his best to stress us out this year as his health has been up and down. But other than the hour or two before the house starts cooling down he seems to be doing fine. He doesn't act overly distressed then either.

I said nothing about his playing. Nothing was said abut wanting him out of the band. Nothing even about being a fan of his. But he overreacted anyways, because he's a snowflake. At least Dj Ashba thought enough of the fans to step aside.... and he's a great player. Fantastic is over the top, his chemistry with Slash isn't as great as originally hoped

If you are upset someone blocked you when you were being an obvious troll you might need to reconsider who the "snowflake" is.

Our conditioner died Friday. We have someone coming by to talk about installing a new one Monday. It has been pretty unpleasant in the house since it got up to 97 degrees today. 

What is unpleasant for us humans has been pretty unbearable for my old dog. He has never been able to tolerate heat. We got a fan for him but he's pretty stubborn.  He wants to stay in the hottest room in the house (got up to 89 degrees in there today). 

The next three days is supposed be even worse (100 every day with the low only getting down to 75). 

He is probably going to be getting a damp towel thrown over him tomorrow along with the fan. We have bowls of water all over the house for him.

If anyone can think of other ways to keep him cool, I'd be happy to hear them.

I bet his favorite Looney Tune is Yosemite Sam. He aspires to be him and pull off that hat.

I feel your pain. When I was growing up we had an 10 yr old lab that humped the 9mth old stray we took in. Not even the stuff the vet gave us to try would make him stop. Finally after a while our new dog  decided we were his new home and he was no longer a guest and started telling him to knock it off and made him quit it.

Neither of our dogs were neutered though it can happen with neutered dogs as well since it is usually a dominance thing. Unless, of course, you have two intact dogs of opposite sexes then you might have a different kind of problem sooner than later 

I couldn't wait to  get on here to read comments about the concert.  Then I looked at the thread and realized that I need to look at the calendar more often. What I thought was the 4th was actually the 3rd.

Just now catching up and am dragging this up from the past, but I have to comment.

Blue is absolutely adorable. I think he is now my favorite of the whole extended GNR family/entourage (including the bandmembers).

Considered and overruled. Yellow jacket was a rain jacket. Hideous, but has a purpose and is hideous as a side-effect. Weird mashup jacket- no purpose other than to be hideous. No contest.

I am sorry. I don't normally care much about what Axl wears. BUT it looks like a UK flag, a US flag and a innocent jacket got into a mishap that included bling and could not be saved.

Maybe it is the heat talking (the thought of going outside in a black shirt anytime in the next 3 months or so makes me wince) but I'd like to have the bloody bullet logo on a white shirt.

When I was a kid our black dogs often became spotted ones when my mom cooked. I found the solution to the problem. I acquired a dog who is spotted to begin with.
