Didn't they sell around 250 tickets to the public? The other 250 would have been reserved for people who the band wants to have there.

The event is a small one in LA, so it makes sense to restrict it somewhat. You don't want people from overseas purchasing a ticket to an even they can't realistically attend and then scalping it. If Guns N' Roses thought the moderators here deserved a place in the venue, then they would have been reserved.

I just hope someone cheeks a phone in and captures some awesome footage at the Troubador..

Leah said there were trucks pulling up (some with a party equipment sign and others for road blocking). She also said there was something which looked like a stage being set up. If we have any members here currently at Tower Records, could they please give us some updates as to what is happening?

I think it's just something to build hype. In reality, there are many rumours going around, and it is likely we will be fooled by some of them. Still, something is up, so at least we know today won't be completely uneventful.

Something big is happening today. We don't know exactly what is happening, but we have a fair idea.

Tower Records is being plastered with GN'R imagery and people are working on shit inside. There are rumours that it will host a press conference or even a roof-top show. Tickets will likely be sold there.

A sign saying 'not in this lifetime' has been put up at the Troubador.

There are more rumours regarding the Palladium, but i'm not sure on the specifics.

Either way, today will be a good day to be a GN'R fan.
