  1. He's also going down on Team Brazil's hit list. Better watch out, or Mama Beta will come knocking!
  2. The only complaint I have is the terrible transition in the solo from Robin to Slash. Amateurish. Otherwise, from what I can hear, the rest of the song sounds great.
  3. They were, but r/GunsNRoses bans leaks, and I believe they even had an employee of the band management/label as a moderator at one stage (not sure if that's true or if they are still on the mod team).
  4. Surely the best course of action now that the song has 'leaked' is for the band to just release it.
  5. The picture and the user's comment are taken straight from a 4chan post that didn't take off: https://boards.4channel.org/mu/thread/117759348/guns-n-roses-plans
  6. Even the snapshots of Reddit and Twitter they showed weren't of people really convinced by it, lol.
  7. Guns N' Roses shows up as the top result for me when searching 'Perhaps', and the top artist when searching 'The General' and 'Atlas Shrugged', but not for anything else I have tried. I don't put much stock in the Spotify stuff, but just thought I would mention it.
  8. Yeah. The alleged The General link also lacks a hyphen separating 'The' and 'General', whereas HardSkool does have a hyphen.
  9. I'm going to call BS on the Apple link. Someone else has claimed on Reddit that there is a The General link on Apple Music, and has referenced some dark web forum as the source... Also, comparing the alleged Apple Music URLs for Perhaps and The General to those of HS and Absurd shows that the former lack 'single' in the address where it is present for the latter.
  10. In any case, we can probably kiss our days of guessing upcoming releases through Linkfire goodbye. There is no way in hell they will be this lax on future releases.
  11. Perhaps this is just some 5-d marketing tied in thematically with the song and 8-ball. Maybe they are intentionally amping people up with unclear information about a release date...
  12. I agree it went live on Linkfire with prior authorisation, but we do know the redirected page itself was a draft as it was listed as a preview in the html coding and the pre-save functions were not working. That is the mistake I am referring to. Someone may have authorised the Linkfire page to go live, but some idiot redirected it to an incomplete page.
  13. What @The Real McCoy is saying is that the marketers would not redirect the Perhaps Linkfire URL to the Perhaps promotion page detailing a release date without permission. This is most likely true, but for whatever reason, the marketing department thought it would be a good idea to redirect a live link to a draft page instead of a final page. This was obviously a big mistake on their part as they weren't expecting people to find it so quickly (which is something they should have anticipated as a possibility given that Hard Skool was found similarly early).
  14. We can say plans changed. Clearly Perhaps was intended for the 11th given the video that was temporarily available via the Linkfire page. Was it officially announced? No, but the marketers were stupid enough to upload a preview campaign on a live link and that tells us all we need to know about the initial plans.
  15. How hard is it to release one song, especially when Perhaps on the 11th received more press coverage than their previous releases? The band and those managing the release/distribution are a joke.
  16. I'm thinking the same now too. If they were still intending on a pre-save campaign, then it clearly won't be coming tomorrow (especially with the short countdown in our timezones). It is possible they have dropped the pre-save campaign for a surprise release, but i wouldn't bet on it being the more likely option at this time.
