It seems more than likely that he'll sounds better the first few shows than later ones in the tour, because then the excitement of having slash and Duff wore off, and it will become normal for him again

Probably GNR. They'd wanna do a small show of like 5 songs to get going for when the REAL thing is up a day later

If those "management teams of all parties involved" are not the GNR Camp, who are they then, and why should we trust them if they're not from the gnr camp, as you said ? This looks like BS to me

I actually relistened to the 1st Snakepit album because that was gonna be the follow up to UYI anyways, and man Neither Can I rocks. Axl would kill that, and pretty much any song from that album tbh

Dude your entire argument that "slash wasn't good enough for poison yadda yadda" is fiction, he didn't get into the band since he himself thought it was stupid they were criticizing his "choice of shoes", so he told them to fuck off. After his audition he saw CC deville with the teased hair and shit walking in and knew right away that was gonna be the guy theyre gonna hire.

Steel Panther and Black Stone Cherry are about the only 2 "newer" bands I'd like them for them to open. Nickelback would be cool too I guess, but they're so fucking popular they're not opening for anybody at this point in their career. But then again Chad is a big GNR fan. SO MUCH SPECULATION GODDAMN

I think you misunderstood me, and him. Manets said that " Fernando told me that Axl is coming out soon to make an announcement about the reunion." That's it. That's all Fernando told him. And then Manets said, in no relation to Fernando, that HE (manets) thinks that Axl might appear on Kimmel.

Ultimately that's very subjective, because Axl actually liked some Snakepit stuff. He wanted some of those songs back actually, but it was too late. And I am sure he likes VRs Fall To Pieces because he already wanted to work on that back in the 90s

Um....GNR already played some obscure songs like Its Alright or Dust in the wind, when they could be doing ACDC, Stones, and Zeppelin. So yeah that's that.

Many bands INCLUDING GUNS AND ROSES did covers live before. I don't see the logic in excluding covers just because some band member was involved in the song. No sense whatsoever

Another fact someone hasnt mentioned in this thread is that the first Vegas show is on Izzys birthday. I find it HIGHLY unlikely that Izzy would not be involved in that show on the 8th, it's just too much of a coincidence the first time GNR are stepping on stage in a reformation like that in what, 20 years, on Izzys birthday, and Izzy is not there? What im thinking is Axl will at some point during the show just say his usual "im gonna bring out a friend of ours, who just so happens to have birthday today. happy birthday ..MR IZZLY STRADLIN!" or something like that. People will go NUTS especially if they dont expect him to be be there (as he himself has said on twitter). Maybe he does this to keep it a surprise appearance.
