Amazing show! You could really see the band enjoying themselves, the chemistry was crazy! KOHD intro was a nice surprise and that encore, man oh man!
But honestly, I'm glad that I didn't pee myself from excitement, both figuratively and literally from lining up for 10hrs

I wouldn't be surprised if they grant him a signature model! Not sure how that would interfere with his Gibson branding, but shittt. Hes played like 3 different versions over the last year
Yeah, and don't forget that SG and Firebird. I don't think Slash played this many guitars on a tour before.

Looks like Slash has a new Rich Bich too
He's been loving those Riches lately.

Jesus, that pit was monstrous. Didn't really notice that night being in the first row, really puts it into perspective.

Interesting. I'll check her out, as well as Biffy Clyro.
Still majorly dissapointed they won't bring Royal Blood or The Kills to Prague. Really wanted to see those two bands.

I've just checked my ACDC ticket from last year. It also says 4pm. As far as I remember, the gates opened around 3, the first opener went on around 5 and ACDC hit the stage at 7:45.
I hope it helps. I'm planning to be there around 2. The golden circle was quite huge last year, so I'd like to see something
Anyone has Duff's side?
I'm on Duff's side too.
Regarding the timeline, I think you nailed it pretty much. DC however had two openers iirc, Guns have only Biffy Clyro I think. Maybe they play a longer set, we'll see.

So what's this whole deal with TWAT and Ireland? Except that they played it last time?

I wouldn't say the solo was pointless since there is a solo on the song
I was surprised that Fortus played it tbh, thought it was Slash from the soundcheck. Definitely not pointless!

Is that an acoustic guitar? Correct me if I'm wrong but did Slash play an acoustic on NITL so far? They even went electric on Patience and UTLH.

I was there last year at the Axl/DC gig. There's a subway station near the airport that goes straight to the city center.

Is Axl trolling Randy Orton with his out of nowhere moves?
BTW. Pink is/was an Axl/GnR fan.
Don't know what to think about this appearance though. It makes no sense. He surely is a Joel fan since he is into Elton, but I don't understand why he spent so much time creating an industrial nu metal album when he is clearly into classic rock and piano pop.
You know, it's possible to like more than two genres of music.

Looking forward to this.
Anybody from Slovakia coming?

Am i the only one that thinks Axl should bring back the all black pants he was wearing with AC/DC? I think they look alot better than the jeans he's been wearing.
Well he got them cut to fit the leg brace, so... Someone send him another pair

Definitely Finck. Ashba is just a more shitty version of the same solo and Slash's take doesn't hold the same emotional weight for me. There's something about the melody and phrasing that's missing imo, but it's still really good.

Love this thread.
CD will never cease to fascinate me as an album, it truly is one of a kind, for better or worse. If we could only hear the rest of the recorded songs, even demos. So much wasted potential and talent.
I'm still hoping for a huge Chinese Leftovers boxset with all the different takes, masters and remixes, etc... The 10th anniversay is approaching
Edit: That 2000 IRS demo someone posted here is brillliant. Dark and heavy as fuck. Were those the rumoured Beavan sessions?

Yeah I really like Slash's solo (the second one) especially that rundown he plays just before the end. It's way more consisent than what he plays on This I Love. Although I quite enjoy his take on that too.
As much as I love Slash, I still like Robin's take more. But the band is pretty tight and man, that breakdown is just mean.

Better was pretty great too. One of the better (sorry) performances from this tour.

Let's hope 2017 isn't an exception!Maaan, those 2009 Osaka and Tokyo dates are one of my favourites. Those were the most Chinese heavy setlist they did, love it!
