Bob Ludwig mastered the album. Mastering and mixing are not the same.

Yeah. Chinese Democracy has five credited mixers: Mike Scielzi, Paul Saurez, Axl Rose, Caram Costanzo and Andy Wallace.

Absurd was mixed by Caram Costanzo. I don't think it was ever revealed who mixed Hard Skool but it was definitely Caram since he produced it with Axl.  The physical and streaming releases of Hard Skool don't have mixer credits.

I've seen Buckethead, Steven Adler and Slash with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators.

How many members on this forum were actually around for AFD? I feel like most members here discovered the band during Illusions or later. I'm sure there is a few on here who have been fans since the very beginning.

I'd tell them that fame is fleeting and they'd only be on top for a short time, so make the most of it. I'd warn them that hard rock music has a gradual decline in popularity after 1991 and that by 1997 there'd only be one of them left in the band, but I wouldn't tell them which member it is. Hopefully with that information they'd move carefully and try to do more before their popularity faded in the mid-90s.

The character named Axl says he is named after a singer from a popular human band. It's definitely a reference to our Axl, just like the rest of the GN'R references throughout the movie.

I was going to do those last, after the albums. In my mind, this game was about rating the songs on the albums first and foremost.
