    Never trust YouTube.

Have been to 3 reunion shows and  Axl always kills it.

I  see the same shows after on YouTube and do not sound the same.

Don't miss the chance to see Uncle Axl live.

Thank you bye take care of us Chinese Stew.

Don’t need irony to understand that seeing this band live is a total different experience to seeing them in YouTube.

Totally different experience. On YouTube you can watch stuff from when they were decent, live you have to suffer what it currently is.

I understand how important she was to so many people, but no part of me will ever understand the infatuation with a family who decided centuries ago that god liked them better than the other white people, and definitely liked them better than the brown people, so they should have all of the shiny shit in the world. Last I checked, the whole "rape and pillage whoever you can conquer" thing was considered passe in the 21st Century. But carry on, I suppose.

    Long live the King.

    WOW

Thanks, now I'll be stuck down this rabbit hole looking up vintage shirts all night. Awesome site!

It’s the best shirt site I’ve come across. It pisses me off going through some of them, lots that I had are worth a few quid now, but I don’t have them do I !!! There’s a Burzum long sleeve shirt on there I had in 1992, wish I had it now..

The biggest hint to me that it's a bootleg is there appears to be no copyright info on the shirt.

That and the tag. I still have my £5 bootleg shirt from 92. It hasn’t fit me since 95  I wish I was smarter when I was young and bought all large shirts instead of medium… especially bootlegs, they shrink after 2 washes.

Seems a bit of a douche move to suggest Slash can’t write songs, based on his solo stuff. Niven wouldn’t say that about Izzy, even though Izzy basically follows a format of creating lots of similar average sounding Dylan/Stones type songs as much as Slash follows a format of rewriting Aerosmith Rocks to infinity, if you want to look at it cynically.

The truth is they never sounded better than together. Izzy’s, Slash’s, Duffs material sounded best with all 3 helping out each other, same goes for Axl, Estranged & November Rain are great, but Slash brought them to another level of great.

  6. SCOM on the radio in 88 was my first time to hear GnR and I didn’t like it really. It kinda blended into the typical rock ballad crap on the radio at the same time, a couple of months later a friend gave me a copy of Appetite and I was hooked, it must have been around Oct/Nov timeframe I got that cassette because I used a record store voucher (remember them?) to buy Appetite that Christmas.

(I was 10 when I bought Appetite and I was sure the guy behind the counter wouldn’t sell it to me he was a stuffy old fuck and the tape had the parental guidance thing on it which was new enough from what I remember, anyways he took the voucher, rang in the sale and basically threw the bag at me with the tape in it and turned back to his paper. Believe me, I listened to Appetite wayyyy low at home, ours wasn’t a house where Axl fucking some chick would be appreciated, serious questions would be asked!)

Anyone else have to live through that “fuck off I’m not a satanist” thing at home with parents back in the 80s?
