I'm really impressed about Axl's voice in Civil War and Rocket Queen! The rasp is back for good  Glad to see he's improving gig after gig. He may be sit but he's kicking some ass!!

This was after Coachella, so as a result of the reunion maybe the band is getting some neutral-positive general press that will help things along.

I find it amusing that fans, due to lack of news and music, spent years discussing Axl's hairstyle and hairline all over the forums and now, that we finally have something else to discuss, Vogue ( the most important fashion magazine in the world) is talking about it. You're late, Vogue, we already said everything it has to be said about his hair

Lisbon, 7th May

So yeah I went nuts, and I’m this close to declare bankruptcy, but I just decided to buy a ticket for May 7th, in Lisbon. I realized I would never be able to forgive myself if I didn't

This is definitely happening haha I went to a group for buying/selling tickets on facebook yesterday and everyone who's trying to buy has some pic related to guns on their facebook page. But the best things are the comments, people write 'I need a ticket for AC/DC' and the comments are like 'Axl Poser' or  'Do you realize it's Axl who's going, right?'

I'm stoked! Just think about it, Axl is back with everything! This is a huge opportunity for him to become the real deal again (he's trending on twitter right now). Fronting two of the best and most successful rock bands, if it all goes well, it will be amazing for him, for Guns and for rock n roll. 

I'm just sad they announced this just 3 weeks before the Lisbon show. There's no way I can have that amount of money for ticket and travel with this time line. It really sucks!!!

I was a huge Queen fan before Guns came along. I was in their fan club which at the time was the biggest fan club in the world. When they needed people for their videos they would contact us and ask if we could go and help with the filming like Radio GaGa and I want to Break Free. If they needed a big crowd it would be fan club members. We also had fan club conventions where we would all go away for a weekend and eat, sleep and rock out to Queen for three days. Wow so cool!!!  I'm a huge Queen fan, they're my dad's favourite band so he introduced them to me since the day I was born (my birthday is 24th November, so you can see why ha!)Along with GN'R they're my fav band and next month I'm gonna see Brian and Roger at RIR Lisboa, I'm so excited! I wasn't born at Freddie Tribute, but I also found Guns N' Roses seeing that concert on youtube. The moment I saw that guy hit the stage for Bohemian I fell for him and his band haha

I posted in another thread: the way Axl closes his eyes during Slash's TIL solo is just beautiful. You know he wrote that song and needed something like that solo to finish it, like in Estranged or NR. Axl and Slash complement each other. These guys need each other and I'm more than glad that they found that again. See these pics really warms my heart 

I'm sure this had been posted before, but man, when Axl closes his eyes at 3:34 and 4:07 you can see he's feeling that solo 'deep down inside'. It's such a beautiful moment! And also when he starts singing again and Slash's guitar is behind his voice, the way that guitar and that voice complement each other...it's meant to be. Never been a fan of CD, but always liked TIL and with this solo is just magic 

Any word on some livestream for tonight so far? I can't pull another staying up all night thing, but also don't want to set the alarm for 7am on a sunday if there isn't any stream ha!
