I got an email from ticketmaster/live nation and it said I have to have proof of being vaccinated or a negative covid test. Whether the venue will check, I have no idea. GNR will be the first concert I've been too since covid.

My concert is September 1. I can let you guys know if I was checked.

Well I hope they will check if people are tested or vaccinated. If not that would be irresponsible!! Live shows cant come back if people can catch covid at gigs…

Why don t people get that?? Not referring to your post , but in general it seems that in Usa still a lot of people don’t understand the situation and the importance of getting vaccinated and tested… In europe it would not be possible to attend a gig without proof of vax or test.

do you think artists will continue to tour if they catch covid touring cause staff/crew and so on isn t tested or vaccinated? Nope

It will be a complete suicide for gnr

That s what I think too. The song is terrible, doesn t sound like hardrock or gnr at all. I listened to it and thought „are you serious?“ thank you, but if that s the future direction I dont need new music.

Can t imagine that song having any success. But who knows.. some people just buy it cause it says GNR 🤷‍♀️

Was wondering the same myself. If you read the statements from the band regarding the firing it's rather vague. I got the sense it had something to do with some kind of problem with a substance addiction.

He was not fired due to addiction problems. They stated that he didn’t give all 100% for Skid Row anymore and that he had other priorities. They meant his solo work, he did want to do country albums.

For Rachel, Snake and Scotti Skid Row means everything, so when they get the feeling someone doesnt put the same effort in it as they do they begin to think if its the right fit.
johnny was the right fit for a long long time but in the end he wanted to do other kind of music which is ok. Bless him

As about his liver problem: don t want to speculate or spread rumors. There are two options why someone suffers from liver failure..

    Rest in peace Johnny

  4. RIP Johnny 💔😢, this is very sad.  You will be missed by many!

I was hoping that he could make it to the liver transplantation but unfortunately his body was already to weak. This hits me hard. I love Skid Row and Johnny did a great job in the band. Many fans didn’t give him the chance but those who did loved his contribution to the band. Thickskin and the United World Rebellion EP s are awesome albums! He was a good guy, always talked to fans and had a smile for us.
this is all very very sad…

Every outdoor stadium should be at 100%. It’s almost impossible to catch covid outside. It’s all so ridiculous.

There are several options how one can catch covid outside. Need examples: someone who has covid is singing or shouting in your face (aerosoles transmission).. uneducated sneezing in your direction... just some examples

btw, this year I won't feel safe to attend large events

    🙁

I do feel safe. I would go immediately to a show! Afterwards I would wear an ffp 2 mask or not meet anyone for 2 days... and do a covid test 2 days after the gig to see if I am ok.
if anything we have huge possibilities of covid tests for free here in Austria , so everyone who wants to be tested regularly can be tested regularly

don't want to sound like prophet, but...

If this shit continues, I am afraid we might have seen the last concert of GNR, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Stones, Aerosmith...

Let's be honest Axl and Jon couldn't sing for the past 2-3 years, another 1-2 years of no touring will shut their chords completely

You might be right. I consider bon jovi s voice worse than Axl s though.
it a terrible what covid does to our favorite bands - this generation of hardrock bands doesn’t have more than 5-10 years left and almost 2 years will be stolen by a fucking pandemic

  8. Yes I will get the vaccine as soon as possible

    - in order to attend concerts (GNR is among them but the laziest band so they are not the reason why...)

    -  in order to travel again cause I love travelling

    - in order to avoid a severe corona illness. I want to avoid intense hospital care or grasping for air

but it s so slowly how things proceed in Austria and it seems we will get the astra zeneca vaccine for most of the under 65 ager. The most uncertain one 🙄

duff sucks because since he came back he only delayed ChDem2  another 30 years

he also sucks because it does not matter he is an employee like the others only that they use his face for advertising

For me they can postpone chi dem 2 for another 30 years. I didn’t like Chi Dem, why should I like the follow up...

I want real new GNR music , if that s not possible well then tour and I will see the show as long as Axl s voice doesnt sound as bad as Bon Jovi does. Hope Axl doesn t get to the point when it gets embarrassing

    Noone needs 3 hour gigs.
BTW Duff could sing 2 or 3 songs and Axl should train his voice and body if he wants it to be considered legit.

For me, I guess they sound the same...

I believe Axl is the one with the special material and Slash can make that even better, not the other way round. But who knows?

The one with the special material (or who could turn material into special one) sits on his avocado farm. It takes all 3 of them to make gnr happen and a bit of Duff and add a half spoon of Stevie into that 😉

I think Australia could well happen yeah. They seem to have things relatively under control at the moment, so by November it could well happen. Noo idea about the logistics, but I would think they could make it work, financially.

I can't see club shows happening by April/May really, unless they're done under social distancing measures, but who knows? The uncertainty is so massive that anything could happen from one day to the next.

At this point I would even attend club gigs with social distancint measures.
    desperate 😂🤷‍♀️

I think 2021 is a certain write off. People won't want to risk large crowds

I would 😂. I miss concerts so much I dont care. Would go with a negative covid 19 test, vaccine (as soon as I get one) , even ffp 2 mask if necessary- just give us live shows back please!

But the general public could be a bit cautious and events maybe wont be sold out. But who cares. People should have the choice to attend the shows or stay at home.

UK. Anyone under 50 is in the tenth priority group, so way, way down the list.

Given that they 'hope' (i.e. they'll completely fail to, as they've failed to do anything well throughout the pandemic, which is why we've got in so badly here) to have the 'most vulnerable' groups vaccinated by April, you can get some idea of how long it may before the vaccine is given to anyone under the age of 50!

People are speculating it might not even happen this year, depending on how much they fuck up the vaccine rollout......which they're already doing. So we're not holding our breath here! Pretty much everything our Government promises doesn't happen, so most people are rather cynical at this stage!

I'd be absolutely astonished if the UK shows happen, and I'd expect that behind the scenes they are probably already in the process of being cancelled.

I don t see stadium gigs happening anywhere but Australia before fall/winter.

But I truly hope we will get club shows back by May/June.

As for GNR I think it will be only Aussie tour and New Zealand but who knows if this pays off shipping the stage etc for such a small amount of gigs ? 🤨

I don't know if other artists do it for the fans or for money.

btw, gnr doesn't do anything, neither for the fans nor for money

There are several things other bands did just to keep in touch with their fans. No money related things ! For example: Skid Row‘ s Scotti Hill always posted on Insta what he was doing during the pandemic, he interacted and responded to fans.
Offspring did many reposts in their insta stories of videos fans sent them - it gives a fan a great feeling if a band reposts their post...

bon jovi did Q & A sessions for his fans, Skid Row asked their fans what merch we would like to have and constantly kept wishing us all the best and so on.

bands did jams , worked on albums....

GNR just did nothing. No interaction with the fans , just repost pictures of old shows, who cares man?!  No message of hope for the fans - as a band they are a complete joke

My love for them has diminished step by step since 2018 , childrens book s from fernando s family are just the icing on the cake. I ‚m not interested in this kind of brand, pardon „band“

Breaking news, we have smaller stadiums or other outdoor loction with less capacity in Europe, where they could have easily switched to. But probably these ones are not good enough for GnR.

Well, i guess it's time to "Move On"

I think "not good enough" is the right guess...

gosh what this band has become... how can they look in the mirror...there s nothing left from the afd spirit... not the same band anymore

That's a real shame to cancel half of the shows.

My shows have ALL been cancelt.

Blame it to that ridiculous management, which seemed not to be abel to get new dates in time, they were simply to lame to get new spots at the venues next year.

So, no GnR for me and @Natty in 2021, we could easily make Munich instead of our canceled shows, but i'm not even in the mood anymore to think about this option. I'll get my money back, that's fine, so i can spend it on some other bands concerts.

this 💯. I ll rather spend my money on bands that ARE bands and not pretend to be a band...
