The unfortunate truth is that we don’t matter to Team Brazil. They will still sell successful tours and products without us and the now-removed online content. We are only a minority’s among GN’R fans and casual listeners. We never heard a proper response from Team Brazil about this, because frankly, we are a drop in the ocean. Sad but true.

Not only we don't matter to them, it seems that we're annoying the shit out of them because of our criticism.

  2. Myles Kennedy school report:

+ He sings perfectly when he sings low. E.g. the verses of battleground or starlight.

+ He is a nice, down to earth guy. It is the first time Slash can work with a singer with no frictions.

+ From '91 he puts out a new studio album constantly every 2-3 years.

+ He can hit those high notes.

    - He sings awfully when he goes to the higher register. He really makes the songs unlistenable.

    - He has some bad singing habits. He often appends an 'a' to the words and in some songs (most notably in YCBM) he uses to speak a whole part instead of singing it.

    - His stage presence is nothing special and his interaction with the crowd is booooring and even awkward.

    As for the fat Axl

Of course, technically Myles is a better singer than Axl nowadays for the most part, but young Axl just destroys him.

Unless Myles tops this one day and proves me wrong:

According to some, Axl's decline started in '92. But this is one of the performances where

he just showed what it's like to be one of the greatest frontmen - rock singers in history.

Because Axl's story goes well back before he got fat and bloated.

No Izzy Stradlin' to write and arrange their stuff.

Actually, it was Axl and Slash who turned Izzy's simple scratch rhythms and structures into great songs.

    Quote

"Axl could always take a simple Izzy melody and turn it into something fantastic."

    Quote

"Izzy and Axl had such great chemistry because Axl knew how to transform one of Izzy's simple structures into a perfect, well-rounded, melodically and lyrically rich song."

Some shenanigans are mentioned certainly but I don't think he admitted to having it off with 14 year olds as I recall. Or he might of? It has been years since I read it.

From what I recall he doesn't say anything about underage girls.

He describes an event with 2 girls, that Axl wanted them to give him and Slash bj. They denied and he threw them out.

Then they accused him for trying to rape them. And then the police went after them and they had to hide.

Slash even said that the accusation was made up.

Nothing about underage girls if I remember correctly.

Unless you know it from a different source.

Axl and Slash were on the run from the police for having it off with underage girls at that garage/rehearsal space they had, the Gardner studio. They hid at Vicky Hamilton's flat and in the end Geffen chucked money at it and obtained their reprieve. The whole chapter was effectively buried away, obliterated from their history.

Isn't this mentioned in Slash's book? He didn't bury it at all.

And she's not named after Mr Bean either lol.

Her middle name is Bean because she looked like a bean the very first time Kurt and Courtney saw her on the ultrasound.

She looked like Mr. Bean on the ultrasound.

I suppose he couldn t say no to his mother. which is a bit different than MJ or fergie.

moreover steven didn t get the opportunities to choose and i think he needed money and did rehab for that.

I don t have to convince you. If you think he is a sellout instead of a genuine person than continue to think so.

for me axl slash and duff are corp.guys. I still love them but I liked them better 25 y ago

I don't think he is a sell out.

But saying no to your mother is much easier than saying no to MJ

Exactly. Steven is the only one who's really insulted it and he does so again in this interview. That's why I was so curious if he'd play it or not.

I think it was around the HOF induction when Steven was hating/loving Axl from interview to interview.

He loved him, then he was done with him, then he loved him again. And now he keeps insulting him, calling him asshole etc, but he loves him of course.

I thought that Steven had practised the whole catalogue - even the CD songs by his own when he learned that a reunion was imminent.

but they are sell outs due to other reasons... Duff does everything to gain more money. slash in the past played with anyone doesn t matter which musical genre. Fergie/ michael jackson. guitar hero.. he is a huge sellout.

I like the guys but Sosso calling steven a sell out is just not right. because until 2018 he is least sell out of all together with Izzy

I don't see Steven as a sellout... Especially if we overlook the celebrity rehab thing he did and his mother's book promo, no, he is not a sell out.

As for the other guys I don't see what's wrong about making more money. They made music, not sex tapes...

if steven is a sellout Duff and especially Slash are 1000 times sell outs.

steven doesn t like chinese. me neither. but I attend the shows cause I love gnr songs. chinese doesnt sound like gnr and i must not love it but I still can go and rock the fu?? out of the other songs.

Slash and Duff never said that they don't like CD. In fact they've said the opposite, even if they were being diplomatic.

Constantine reminds me quite a bit of Myles from the limited amount I've heard of him. He's not the best but I reckon some of the criticism his singing has copped is a bit harsh

Well Myles is a down to earth guy (he even has said that it's impossible to fill Axl's shoes), in contrast to Constantine.

When you (Constantine) say all those exaggerations aiming to get in the spotlight, it's only reasonable that you'll finally get the corn when it's time to prove yourself and you fail.

Apart from that, imo Myles is far better than Constantine and I'm not even a fan of his.
