you're welcome.
I'm pretty sure it was posted here back in 2018, otherwise I would not have remembered it, but at this time everybody was focusing on lines like this...
"When you think about it, we’ve been working this entire time, so there’s been no chance to map out what we’ll be doing once this tour is over, or what kind of approach we will take. Now we’ve gotten past all our shit from 20 years ago, we want to keep this thing going and keep it fresh and so on and so forth. Let’s see what happens! Should that wheel start turning, I have some cool riffs ready."
Well, how time flies, and subjects of interest change

Yes, this explains it.
He probably thought: "Well, that's cool, I'm gonna sell it with my signed picture" :
and if you consider that, it's even more sad, that Matt is obviously willing to offer something personal, while official GnR merch store is throwing in a boring black-on-black print shirt as a "goodie".
I'm really not a big Matt fan, but that's probably a much better move than the others did.

"Phil Collins IS in the air tonight"
reading the title of this thread, i thought it's a subtle way to say that Phil has died
not that i'd care that much, if so.

what is the point unless they just want to spew out their hatred of themselves and direct it elsewhere, yes thats probably it, so one must feel sorry tor them and their futile lives. Maybe they will find something else to do with their empty existance.
oh dear, now you have deeply offended some users from here, too 😂
but anyways, don't bother about that place, it is what it is.

His stage presence may have been the best thing about him; however,
I could never get over the fact that while on the stage, he had a top hat, cigarette, and Les fucking Paul. I mean come on.

To be fair, if no-one has mentioned it to him, I don't see that he would know. He won't know anyone personally that's bought GNR tickets.
Let's give the guy his due on this one - he's said he wasn't aware, but will sort it out this week, which he didn't need to say and is a decent gesture. Let's see if he does sort it.
he can’t, he's not in the position to sort things out, all the people who have trouble with refunds, have to deal with ticketmaster/live nation themselves.
But that's exactely the point why i posted his quote, cause he is completely clueless, and the only thing he does is telling people bullshit about what he can or will do...and as we all know, most of it doesn't happen in the slightest.
btw, i for ones would rather wait a year for my money or even loose it, than asking Fernando for help.

I shall certainly be taking him up on this.
Edit: It looks like that was targeted at one specific complaint, rather than a general thing. But I think it's good if people bring to his attention the various struggles with refunds, just to make him aware. It's probably something no-one has mentioned to him, so (like most people) he'll rightfully think "show cancelled, ticket holders get refunded".
of course it was the answer to a specific complaint, but what goes for one, should go for all

He for sure isn't aware of the "voucher solution" in some EU countries
but anyways, feel free to overflow TBs email, that bigmouth is practically begging for it

Don't know if this has been said already in another thread but Fernando answered Reddit questions again and this is a quote from him:
"3. We don’t have any plans on doing a documentary or movie. We have shot a few shows professionally with one being released this year."
This year?? Should be announced within the next two months if they want to release it in time for the Christmas market
He also said none of the Axl/DC shows were pro-shot
First of all, he wrote shot, which literally would only mean that a DVD/Bluray is coming, and not a live album, that you're all talking about now !
And what about the second part of the answer, if it refers to the same subject, then he has taken it right back again at the very same moment, as always !
Maybe he refers to something different with "hoping it can still happen...2021", but i doubt...

Just had my email from Ticketmaster Germany regarding the cancelled Hamburg gig offering me a voucher
It states that a cash refund option is only freely available AFTER 31/12/2021, but it does say "An earlier refund is only possible if accepting a voucher would be unreasonable taking into account your personal circumstances".
Anyone know what I need to tell them to get my refund?? It's outrageous how they are able to hold onto my money for another 16/17 months.
That might be the same "personal circumstances" that ticketmaster.cz sent out in their email

Has Slash lost it?
in THE JUNGLE
Posted · Edited by EricA
Indeed he does
I haven’t ranked "my lost 2020 shows" but RATM definitely is under the Top 3 losses, all other Bands i should have seen this year, i've already been to for many times, not so RATM
...and btw. Zakk doesn't do it neither for me, purely based on optics
