That I bought tickets for 5, that they played at 4.  I was in Philly when Axl no-showed back in 2002.

Me and my buddy went to MSG the show before that.  He got tickets for Philly and I didn't have the money for another show so he calls me bragging he got 6th row.  I was so fucking jealous until he called me later in the night telling me all the shit being thrown at the stage and the urinals being ripped off the wall after Axl didn't show up.

  2. I remember like it was yesterday.  My brother called to wake me up and said put on MTV!  I was half asleep, thought I was dreaming and was so pumped to see Axl running around the stage.  They re ran the show back to back so I popped in a blank vhs tape to record and watch the whole show the next day.  Good times back then when there was so much excitement about a new lineup with new material on the horizon.

Maul died after killing Oskar Schindler at the end of Phantom Menace. I don't want to see him with robot legs walking around in nerd stuff.

Yea I think they fucked up when they killed off Maul so quick in Phantom Menace.  They should have just ate it.  Just like they should have ate Palatine blowing up but they fucked that up too.  There's a saying that you can't unfry an egg but Disney doesn't see it that way.

I'm not sure I'd like that. The reason I liked this show is precisely because it didn't have all of this baggage from the films. It was good to see a spaghetti western thing set in the ''general'' Star Wars  environment without wankers from the films showing up, or Darth Mauls with robotic legs and other such retconned nonsense. There was a simplicity and clarity to The Mandalorian

It's subtle to casual fans of Star Wars but to hardcore fans there's Easter eggs sprinkled in every episode.  They did a cool documentary on season 1 and more or less explain how everything you see was taken from the original trilogy.  It's looking to me like this season will be all about connecting the last season of Clone Wars to the six Lucas films.  Not sure if that's the direction you want to see but that's where it looks to be headed.  If Kathleen Kennedy keeps her nose out of it the show should be just as good as last season.

It doesn't matter when the town was named.  The symbol and term has been corrupted.  Almost everyone in North America and Western Europe feel this way.

You do realize that Nazis still use the swastika, right?  It's not as if its association with Nazism ended in 1945.

Maybe we should be better by not invoking the worst memories and moments in human history through the employment of the name and imagery of that time.  Your concern for the fairness of a symbol at the expense of the offence seems so perverse to me.  Why do you give a fuck what so many people see and feel when they see the symbol?  You're right it had a previous connotation, but that connotation died along with the 6 million Jews the Nazis killed.

So if the white nationalists start using rainbow flags to represent their cause gays will need to change their colors?

They could just have Mark Hamill play Luke and have him look like he did on Crait right? Maybe he was older there. It'd still be cool. Wont happen, though

They have the technology to do age regression with actors today (I believe they did it with Robert DiNero recently) and it looks pretty convincing.  If they do this it could save the sad assassination of Luke's character in the sequel trilogy.  It could also open the door for Hayden Christianson to come back and have some father/son time.  #notmyluke

How is California gonna keep all their electric vehicles powered in 2035 if they cant even keep the lights on now?

I guess they'll have to start burning more coal to keep up with the increased demand for more electricity.  Democrats have all the answers on how to save the planet but have no idea how to get there.

The whole Brianna Taylor shooting was terrible, but is it an excuse to riot and destroy property and hurt people? I don't think so.

The peaceful protesters are a huge reason for a decision in this case, but rioting is just some people wanting to fuck shit up and steal shit. I can't believe that in America we have to board up businesses so they can not be destroyed or looted? WTF?

And I want to know, don't these people have jobs? it seems everyone who seems to be out all day and night, have nothing else to do. These are terrible times with the virus and fires and floods and no work to feed and take care of their families, but so many people are outside. I guess they are getting unemployment benefits? I don't understand it.

And my soaps weren't on again due to this case and a million people giving their opinion. There are so many damn news channels, so why do they have to interrupt regular tv. Damn it!

There are two types of rioters.  Those being paid to "protest" and the ones who have no life/job/purpose in the world so they like to burn shit down and attack cops to feel like there's a reason they're breathing the air.  Local leaders need to get the national guard in and put an end to this.

  9. I just heard the woman who sent ricen to the White House was from Montreal.  I don't know any Canadians personally so I can only gauge my knowledge of Canadians by reading posts from @soon and @downzy.  Why does it seem Canadians are so bitter and angry about a US President?  I'm truly baffled.  I've always heard how great it is to live in Canada so why not just enjoy the good life and stop hating the GOAT?

I don't think they are saying that. You sure this isn't a misunderstanding?

I believe they just said the complete opposite.  They're starting to link it to poor ventilation systems.

    You guys are unbelievable.

It’s bad enough you have a terrible thing happen under Trump’s watch, such as the forcible and needless separation of kids from their parents while under detention. It’s completely a whole other level of shit to have people attempt to justify it or make excuses for it.

First, Trump hasn’t stopped shit. The “wall” as it exists today is only 1/6th of the total US border and is largely a replacement for fencing and walls that already existed.

Second, many children do come unaccompanied into immigration services, but that’s not who we’re talking about. Many come with their parents. Under Obama’s administration these families were not separated (unless under severe circumstances). Under Trump’s administration the opposite occurred for no other reason but cruelty by the current President.

Anyone who comes here LEGALLY isn't separated from their children or thrown in cages.  Illegal = breaking the law = end up in a cage.

I'm not smarter than everyone else, but I know I'm smarter than you when it comes to the politics of your own country.

None of those links back up your claim that kids were separated from their parents.

Obama didn't need to separate kids from their parents because the parents separated from the kids themselves.  Trump is stopping this kind of horror by securing our border with a physical barrier.
