  2. They used to have better openers on past tours, starting with RiR and Driving Rain isn't as good.
  3. Yeah she's really gone off the deep end in the last couple years. Honestly the only reason that I'm still interested and go to her shows is because of my friend. Yeah he is.
  4. No, he (and the rest of her current band) were with her in 2021 but they didn't all play on the album. He plays on the song Made to Die; I don't think he's on any of the others. Her live drummer and bass player are on a few songs also. The songs on the album were recorded at different times during the pandemic into 2021 or so, so there's different players all over the album (and a few different producers). Trev Lukather produced and played on a few songs, Phil X plays on at least one, etc. She's working on a new album now and he told me that he's recording on that one.
  5. When leaving the hotel? He always wears the backwards trucker cap.
  6. Yeah Dorothy is a great singer and puts on a good show. The other guitarist in that video is a good friend of mine.
  7. Yeah that's why. All of the SMKC tours have been like that.
  8. No he doesn't. I don't think he cares about winning over casuals, they're playing what they want to play. For me the casuals are the most annoying thing about a SMKC show. They don't know what's going to be played, get upset because they don't know any of the songs, complain about no GnR being played, etc
  9. Slash has said several times in the past that he's not doing those GnR songs with SMKC anymore now that he's back with GnR, so people shouldn't expect them. It's cool that he's doing DDM and BA as deep cuts but it's not expected that there will always be a GnR song there.
  10. GnR is so much better than MC at this point, and especially after the Mick Mars stuff they would just look stupid in comparison.

  12. I'm not talking about his post, I added that because it seemed relevant to what we're talking about. What I've been saying is based on private conversations I've had with in the last month or so with people involved with SMKC. Not going to give any specifics because they're private conversations with friends but I can tell you with absolute certainity that that the idea that Slash's heart is no longer in SMKC and he's just using it as an excuse to tour is 100% false. The fact is that if he wanted to tour he could go out with them anytime and do it and play the old stuff, he doesn't necessarily need a new record for that (although he has stated in the past that he makes records so that he can tour them but there's more to it than that). Also the fact that they put together new setlists in 2022 and then made some new changes this year says to me that he (and the band) are very much invested in what they're doing. They made Always on the Run a regular feature and brought back deep cuts like Shots Fired, Bad Rain, No More Heroes, Nothing to Say (in 2022) and Too Far Gone this year. Oh and don't forget Don't Damn Me and Bad Apples too. They could've just kept the general setlist from the LTD tour and swapped in a few songs from 4 but they redid it completely. This guy gets it^^ Yeah Frank has no reason to lie. They're all very excited to be playing together again. The blues album has nothing to do with Slash being tired of SMKC, it's just another creative outlet. Something different to explore another side of his playing and an opportunity to collaborate with different people who he maybe wouldn't get to otherwise. In some of the interviews that he's done recently about this album he's said that he wanted to do the blues album for a long time and now's he's finally had the chance to put it together. Nothing more to it than that, no deeper meanings or hidden drama. It doesn't sound like it took that long to record everything either, at least the basic instrumental tracks as seen in the video. He probably had to wait longer to do the parts with the guests.
  13. He just added a solo to the new version of the song. Check out the Ozzy album before that too (Ordinary Man); Andrew did that one as well. And there might be a 3rd Ozzy album coming later as well. If you're going to include I'm Just Ken in this then you also need to include Rock the Rock, just saying.
