Matt confirms in that interview that past delays in releasing the book were due to further editing. I wonder if someone made him realize how awful he comes off in the original version. Interesting that it’s delayed again

I always felt like Pitman self-sabotaged on purpose. He wanted out so he put some shit on social media to get fired. Then he could proceed with a lawsuit about past money owed. That’s a better case in court if you were let go rather than still working there

I don’t think it works that well live. There’s not really a sing along chorus or big guitar spot in it. The song kind of meanders and never really gets anywhere IMO. I love a lot of CD but IRS never did much for me.

Does Hard School grow on you? First time hearing it and I’m slightly underwhelmed considering how much it’s talked about here 

‘88 VMAs was their best performance ever, of any song. The band was in their prime here.

I always thought Silkworms was a mess and hadn’t listened to it for 15 years.
