my opinion hasn't changed about this topic. It's an important festival with a rich history, but I believe that even a really weak Gn'R show won't do that much damage if at all to ticket sales.

Bingo. Not trying to be disrespectful, but no one outside England cares about Glasto. Seen some folks on here suggesting this could be “one of their biggest gigs ever” and that is the absolute wildest take I’ve seen.

Because it’s not the usual GNR crowd. Most Brits don’t realise how Axl’s voice has changed. My impression talking to friends etc is that most don’t like his clean voice, never mind Micky with intermittent cracky rasp. I think it might get bad reviews. I think ther’ll be a lot of nasty comments about Axl’s voice. Could be embarrassing ☹️

I think if Axl was going to ever get embarrassed about how his voice sounds it would have happened years ago, certainly before Glastonbury. I think he could go out and have the worst show of the entire reunion there and not a lot would change. It sounds as if inside England the festival is worshipped, but outside of the country no one else pays attention.

Slash alluded to there being 4 more songs to release, give or take, though he also said he couldn't remember exactly how many there were. There's no reason to expect a full album unless you believe Axl is going to write new music, which is very unlikely at this point, to put it mildly.

I don’t know if I buy this.. If there’s only four he’d have remembered.

They're going to get torn to shreds sadly. There's already a mixed reaction mainly because Glastonbury has been viewed as a very progressive festival, 50/50 women men, lots of alternative acts from different backgrounds and race. and the 3 headliners are 3 white rock/pop acts. and obviously GnRs history doesn't always fit. Someone needs to infiltrate and show them all of the vids of axl hitting the trump pinata, or the tweets. But yes, rolling stones got abuse on social for their live performance, paul mcartney, jay z etc. Unless axl sounds like 2010 and they cut a lot of the crap in the set (meandering solos, unknown covers) they will never be able to set foot in the UK again.

Glastonbury sounds not fun at all.

Bad Apples in Rio sounds killer.  Axl really paces himself perfectly. Nails it for sure. 14 Years in London is rocking too but with some heavy keyboard bits going on.

Had a ton going on around announcement time for the set.. Can’t seem to find these songs on any of the versions of the box set. What version are you listening to that they’re on? Sorry for the dumb question lol

It doesn't seem that any live recordings or footage were stored there. It was only master studio recordings.

GN'R was not among the artists that sued Universal. Maybe this suggests something. Or maybe it doesn't. Who knows...

One has to wonder if the eventual estate of Axl Rose would have the ability to sue, should there have been anything lost that could be capitalized on.

I only like 4 songs on this album. UYI easily could have been one album, but, I'll take as many GN'R songs as possible so I'm happy they released their vault (or close to it) at the time in the form of two records.

Wish they did the same for CD.

Agreed. If they’d only put out one consolidated UYI, who knows if we’d ever heard the remainder of the songs
